Remarks

Overall this is a great college. The faculties are very helpful and encouraging. The laboratories are great. I wish the canteen would be a bit nice and I would have been happy if the food quality gets better.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

In my opinion the course curriculum are pretty good. There are times when I suffer from a load of the studies but eventually I cope up with the courses. Actually it is easy to score good marks but the courses are a bit vast.

Internships Opportunities

I have studied for two and a half year in this college. Till now the college couldn't provide any internship opportunities to the Graduated students. It is heard that form the next year the college my provide internship.

Placement Experience

3

This college have both B.Sc and M.Sc courses. There aren't any job opportunities for the students who have passed the B.Sc. and haven't done M.Sc. yet. But the college can provide a few job opportunities and placements if a students pass M.Sc.

College Events

3.5

Our college celebrate Independence Day on 15th August by hoisting the Indian National Flag. Our college also celebrate Teacher's Day on September 5th following the Freshers Party a few minutes later. Our college also celebrate the Farewell Party for the students of Final Semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college doesn't provide any scholarship or loan facilities to the students. It would be of great help if the college could provide scholarship or loan facilities to the desired students. There are may students whose family income are not so much. This loan facilities could help those students.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, before taking admission in this college I talked with 2 senior students about the college. They said every pros and cons of the college. I also asked them about the courses and streams. Their detailed information helped me a lot.

Admission

There aren't any online admission form fill up. I had to visit the college and talked with authority. I talked about the courses, fees structure, placements etc. I filled up the form and I took admission in this college.

Faculty

4

The faculties are great. They help us in all possible ways. They are very kind, friendly and when required they are also strict. They encourage us if we score bad in any subjects. They try to make us understand the courses in a easier way through PowerPoint presentation and etc.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was well thought out as per me but there were subjects that i found absolutely unnecessary. Subjects like history evs and clc were in no way related to my course. Coming to the main subjects Design, Printing, Photography and film and Media Training were absolutely necessary for my course and whilst the faculty for some of these subjects were really bad, some were good. It is also important to mention none of these subjects actually helped us prepare for the real world. Instead internships and freelance helped us more than these subjects could ever do. Exams were held bi monthly to keep track of what we learnt and every 6 months we had our semester exams. Overall if you want to be a media professional INTERNSHIPS AND JOBS WILL HELP YOU MORE THAN A COLLEGE WILL. I am biased on this opinion as my college didnt provide me with the correct guidance and support i needed to make it in the real world.

Placement Experience:

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

* It's all about practical knowledge, we are getting from this course and another aspect is if you wants to make your career in research or lecturer then you should go for it. *No changes required in teaching methods but if college will provide hostel facilities and campus requirement drive, then it will better for candidates.
