Remarks

A very good college overall but there are some demerits also. Due to recent construction there is no playground. In the college everywhere lots of renovation is going onvdue to which there is lot of sound all the time even during lectures but this all is temporary.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It's obviously a very good course, there is a lot of scope in it. In future there will never be shortage of any resource to you if you become a good doctor. Examination pattern is yearly, it includes both subjective and objective questions during mbbs course

Placement Experience

4

No such placement kind of thing is required in mbbs, jobs are always available for a doctor, he/she can apply for a job at any hospital and can be easily selected. Internship is compulsory part of mbbs so it's available here, stipend is 10,000/month

College Events

4

Only the annual fest is celebrated here in the month of december but that one month is full of joy and fun. During that one month preparation as well as fest both take place, especially first year is involved in the fest

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes scholarship is being provided by the college under the scheme of state government but it's only for reserved categories. There is no such facility for general category students. Laptops are also being provided with scholarship to SC/ST students

Campus Life

3.5

Starting from the first year. dissection hall is very good. Other laboratories of various subjects are also good and well equipped. Sports ground and courts were available earlier but due to recent construction they got damaged

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, in mbbs course there is a very strong bond between senior and junior as well as amongst the batch mates. There's is meet of various batches almost every year. Alumni of this college conduct meet in college and come with their families and enjoy it.

Admission

Thru NEET UG (NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY ENTRANCE TEST) that take place at the national level and the syllabus for the test is class 11 & 12th physics, chemistry & biology (ncert books). After the test rank is displayed at the site of mci.in & counseling takes place at national as well as state level

Faculty

3.5

Faculty is good, some professor teaches very well, some are just ok. Since it is a government college so clinical subject's are very good and experienced. They will give practical knowledge very well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The fact that this course provides you a very dignitorial position in society attracts me the most into it. The financial benefits are also quite impressive. The curriculum extending for 5.5 years provides you all the required knowledge to practice as a general doctor in the country. There is a total of 19 subjects for 4.5 years in total. 1 year rotatory internship in various clinical department in affiliated hospital gives you very good clinical exposure also. The internship here is stipended by ?26000-/- per month. Every year mcc is renewing the syllabus according to to demands of indian medical system. Frequency of exams are quite adjustable upto rth year. 4th year is quite hectic and tiring with syllabus.
