Remarks

Biggest Positive about GMC bhopal is it's campus. Lake facing beautiful campus is all about the way it is being constructed. An old fatehgarh fort transformed into a Medical College with a historical background. Another positive is the Hamida Hospital. Good clinical study and great team of doctors who teaches each clinical requirements.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

MBBS has a specific curriculum. Pre decided by the government and hardly any option for. ICMR though provides you an opportunity to get into research works. Also at College level you can excel in your clinical Skills and deal with the patients.

Placement Experience

5

After completing MBBS final year a compulsory internship of 1year is done. Stipend in intership is 10, 000 a month for just 3hrs of work a day. In this period most of them prepare for there PG entrance exams. After at in PG course the stipend is 55, 000 pm.

College Events

3

Not very huge. It's just at the College level celebration for 5 days. Inter College sports events and Intra College Cultural nights are the best part. Overall it's a refreshing experience for the whole year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very feasible. 50, 000 per year. In a government funded College and hospital. Hostel fee 10, 000 per year. Additional exam fees and charges are very nominal. Affordable for all. As compared to any private institute GMC has better patient load and clinical practice.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship to backward class is given by the government. Based on other government schemes students get different types of scholarships and waving off the fees. Loan might be available as students loan in the in house branch of SBI.

Campus Life

4.5

Best Campus anyone can think of. No hard limitations on any issues. Sports facility are very limited with just one badminton court, lawn tennis court and a Sports Complex with Gym. Regular workshops happen over medical studies. Diversity is the beauty of the College. People all over india of different caste, Culture and religion study in Harmony and unity.

Alumni/Alumna

Very strong connection of the Alumni Association is there. Regular meet up and celebration is organized. A very healthy interaction is seen. Best part of the Alumni Party is the Banquet. Great Atmosphere and Great arrangements are done for all.

Admission

Cleared NEET UG and accepting the College according to the Rank. You hardly have any options. Just select the College closest to your hometown. Priority wise hospital bed capacity and College infrastructure matters alot.

Faculty

4

Each faculty in our College is a well knowledged personality and being a doctor themselves they have delt with these hard times themselves. Many being an ex student from the same institute makes them even better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The fact that this course provides you a very dignitorial position in society attracts me the most into it. The financial benefits are also quite impressive. The curriculum extending for 5.5 years provides you all the required knowledge to practice as a general doctor in the country. There is a total of 19 subjects for 4.5 years in total. 1 year rotatory internship in various clinical department in affiliated hospital gives you very good clinical exposure also. The internship here is stipended by ?26000-/- per month. Every year mcc is renewing the syllabus according to to demands of indian medical system. Frequency of exams are quite adjustable upto rth year. 4th year is quite hectic and tiring with syllabus.
