I would want from the teachers that thry should teach according to practical knowledge rather tha only theory and just completing the syllabus. And improve the food quality of the mess.

There are lot of subjects to learn and elective subject which are intresting and students can chose by themselves what they want to study. They can choose by which teacher they want to study and time slots according to that. SRM conducts lot of exams during a semester to keep the Students involved in studies. They have 1 CT, 1model exam(mid-term), surprise tests, model practical, final exam and final practical exams according to their subjects and course. Teachers are very helpful when it comes to the on campus placement. They give aptitude clases and personality development classes to encourage students and prepare them for placement. Every year, there is one indutrial visit for the students.

There are lot of companies comes for the placement like TCS, Cognizant, HP, L&T, Byjus, Cybage, Infosys, etc. Most of the companis which comes for the placement follow the same steps i.e. 1. Aptitude Test 2. Group Discussion 3. Face to Face Technical and HR. Most of the students gets placed during the placement time. The tentative percentage of placement in 2018 was around 85-90%. Thr institution provide aptitude classes to help students to crack first round and personality development classes for cracking GD and HR round by giving mock interview session.

There are two main fests held in the college. One is tech fest ehich is held around September or October. And the other is cultural fest which held in January or February. Other than this there are lot of small events and workshops are there in college which is happening throughout the year.

Average program fee for course is around 3.5 lakhs oer year. And the mode of payment is through cheque and DD. Every semester they charge an extra fee for exam which is around 2000-3000. Yes, the college provide transparency in the fee-breakdown in special cases which can only granted by director of the college.

Thry offer scholarships for the students who have vleared the entrance exams of the college. They have their own criteria which they explain it during counseling process it changes slightly every year.

The gender ratio is almost same and diversity is different in every course. There is no gender, race or religion discrimination ever. There are lot of cultural society and workshops which keep the students involved throughout the year and make campus life intresting. There are road shows and small events which make camous life more interesting and fun.

College provide hostel with mess and laundry service. College have different types hostel like attached washroom or non-attached washroom. AC or non AC room. Average hostel charge is around 1 lakh 10 thousand including room, mess and laundry service.

There are few senior who stay in touch with the college after graduation. And people meet at convocation after graduation and stay in touch and meets if they are in same city where they are working.

SRM University has its own entrance exam but also takes admission through management process. SRM is one of the best private university of the country. I opted for computer science engineering because I wanted to learn nore about the coding and software process. The admission procedure is conducted for over a week where the work is done in maximum of 2 days for a singke candidate. First, the counselling is done then after that fill out few forms and submission of 10th and 12th certificates. They verify the marks once and if everything is good, then hostel booking process is done.

There are more than 300+ professor in the college and lab assistants. The professors average age in the college is around 40. And most of the teachers have done Ph.d, or M.tech in their respective field. Teachers are helpful and help students in clearing their doubts anytime.They help students by involving them in projects and giving live examples. Some of the teachers have industry -experience and certification in their respective fields.
