BBA at ICFAI Hyderabad

Good: The college has student and faculty from every part of India which helps you get to know all the traditions and cultures. Bad: The hostel timings are a bit strict when compared to the other colleges.

So the BBA course taught here is not just theory and exam based but also a lot of other activities given by the college and faculty. First of all the faculty give projects and assignments for presentation to give the students exposure and remove the fear from them. There are subjects which groom students to give a proper presentation at offices with all the rules and etiquettes. The college also has clubs like management club, startup club etc which motivates students to take part in different activities and show their talent.

So for placement purposes, many companies come to the college like Deloitte, Sriram insurance and various famous companies. For an internship, the student opts from college provided companies or their own companies. Some of the companies that provided internships were Inspire technology, Shriram Life insurance, Pay matrix, ETOP etc. The recruitment process was simple with the student applying for the position and giving an interview.

ICFAI holds various management, technical and cultural events. The most famous is the Triti which is the annual college fest which is held on a very big scale. It is a 3-day event with various popstars being invited to the college. Then comes the MUN CONFERENCE in which the college invites other colleges also to take part. There are various small scale events done in the college to check the management skills of the students with the guide of seniors and the faculty.

The college provides merit scholarship to students who secured above 80% in their 12th-grade examination. This can be applied by submitting a copy of the 12th report card and filling the form given by the college. The college also provides fees concession based on the student's performance in the college sem wise.

The campus life of the college is peaceful and fun with a zero harassment tolerance policy. The college is under CCTV surveillance 24/7. The gender ratio is 1:1 with students from each part of the country. The students are allotted sections based on their gender and city to make sure there is diversity in each classroom.

The seniors are extremely helpful as the faculty motivates their students to help the freshers. The seniors guide the freshers by explaining the grading policy of college and giving tips on how to score better marks in the exams. They also suggest companies for doing the internships.

I opted for the BBA course in ICFAI because it is one of the most popular BBA degrees in Hyderabad and there is a different technique of teaching compared to other colleges. So for the admission process, you must first. 1)Fill in the form online on the college website and take a printout of the given document. 2) A date will be allotted by the college on which we must go and give the interview and the results will be known in 3/4 hours. 3) If you are selected you must collect the forms given by the college and submit them on the first day of college with the required amount of fees.

There are more than 30-40 lecturers combining all the sections. They are aged between 30-50 years. So the young lecturers are mostly for the first-year students who have less expertise and more qualified faculty for 2nd and 3rd-year students. The faculty have relevant industry experience and certification compared to their role.
