Remarks

It's been a long time that I am taking classes in my college. Every class are very important to me. And honoured teachers are doing this on a regular basis.

Course Curriculum Overview

10th and 12th and recently reading 1st year. Our honoured teachers taking classes every day carefully. All classes are important for me and the learning process is awesome. The ratio of faculty is average.

Course Fees: INR 700 per year

Internships Opportunities

I hope, I should get support from our respected teachers. They should support me for my requirements.

Placement Experience

I don't know because I haven't experienced it at all. For many reasons but if I got the opportunity I should definitely go.

Fees and Financial Aid

Campus Life

I don't have any idea about campusing. Well, campus life is very adventurous and joyful to me though I haven't experienced it.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

I took this trouble because I like this course. 45 boys and 30 girls are studying in our college. In our Cooch Behar College, the exam is conducted very thoroughly. The teacher and teacher of this college is very good and talks to everyone well and clears their doubts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Sc Computer Science Faculty: Student ratio is = 4:23 may vary a bit Faculty are well Qualified & Teaching method is okay good, but not to the mark like very good or excellent. The exam term was timely (sometimes it gets a bit late due to some natural disaster like cyclone, heavy rainfall, etc or any govt. & university delays), and the exam level is nearly too difficult, something like in between moderate to difficult.

The semester exams always took place on time time each year and exam dates were given in the notice board. The question difficulty level was quite easy The teachers are qualified to the requirements of eligibility. I chose this course since i have interest in computer science subject.

Admission:

I applied for my course available in this college via online mode. As everything was depended upon merit, we didn't have any entrance exam or interviews. I got my name there in the merit list. I had my interest in maths thus I got admission.

Admission:

I had filled all the forms online. They create an account for you where you get all your admission information. As I had 89% marks, I do not had to give entrance exam and interview. The admission was quite easy for me. I just had to visit the college once and submit the demand draft and some forms, after which the admission was done. I just had to go to the university and attend classes.

Ranaghat college review

The whole admission process was online. Only students who have 60% marks were eligible for the admission in the stream of chemistry honours but the percentage varies with the other streams .There were caste based quota system. I secured a sit for me in B.Sc. honours stream as my marks were above the requisite. I made online payment which was so secured and there was no third party involvement. before taking admission to Ranaghat college I also applied to chakdaha college and Kalyani University. I was eligible to take admission in those colleges but I chose ranaghat college because it is situated in the shortest distance from my home about 45 minutes distance by train and walks. I was selected in the OBC-B quota during admission. Minimum percentage of number for taking admission in geography Hons for this college is 65% and the age of the student should be 18 or above.
