Remarks

Overall it's a great college. It has helped me become who I am today. But there are few things that the management needs to work upon like changing the curriculum of the courses in alignment with what is going on in the market.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum like every other engineering college in india does not have much significance and are most of the times not industry relevant. No research driven structure is there. All the just related to just bookish knowlege and you have to do your own research if you want to gain extra knowledge that will be relevant for you in the future.

Placement Experience

4

The placement cell provides enough opportunities to students to get placed is a decent company. Personally speaking I got opportunity to sit in about 16 company interview process. So there are no shortage of opportunities, just one thing is there you have to maintain a cgpa of 8 and above to be eligible for all the company's that visit the premises.

College Events

3.5

There is only one technical plus cultural fest that happens in college called impressions. Not a popular fest. Very few people from other colleges participate in the fest. Mostly it's a 3 day fest with a band night, dj night and one more star night. Not very famous singer or band or dj comes for the fest. The management is also very reluctant in giving funds.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The program fee currently is around 1.5 lacs per annum. It's a bit on high side but not too high as compared to other engineering colleges. No additional fees need to be paid for addmission. Just the tution and hostel fee are the only charges. And breakup is available for the total fees they are charging so there is full transperancy in this regard.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no scholarship opportunities in our college. You'll have to take student loan if you don't have the resources to give your tution fee.

Campus Life

5

Campus Life is great. Time to time activities are being organized by different societies to keep you engaged and also divert you from the studies that you will have to do for four years. Most of the activities happen after college hrs. The activities include robotics, programming, music, dance, games( indoor /outdoor), art and craft, debate, MUN, etc. There are enough activities to cater to each person interest.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I was not in hostel as college was close to my location. But there are ample rooms in hostel to accomodate all students. The newly constructed hostel buildings has all the facilities like clean bathroom, rooms have air conditioning and all the basic furniture that is required by a student is present.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is fairly strong. Most of the people are helpful and also whenever opening come in their companies, they post about it in the portal and help in any which way possible.

Admission

We have to fill a form before all the competitive exams are held to be eligible for taking admission in college. The addmission happens based on the score you get in IIT mains. So the students are called fornm counselling based on their ranks and the course choice option is also based on ranks. Counselling happens in the premises.

Faculty

4

For each subject there are about 30-40 lecture per semester. The teachers are well qualified and experienced but there are few exceptions which happens in every college. Most of the teachers have a through experience of their domain area and very helpful in providing guidance in any way possible. Some of the teachers have relevant industry experience and certification. Most of the faculty have done btech as well as mtech. Some are PhD gradutes also

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.Tech CSE course as I am interested in Computer and Coding. Don't go behind the trend. Choose the course according to your interest. Every course and specialization is difficult in its own. Personally I suggest if you took addmission and you are in 1st semester, please focus on your studies. Don't kept roaming and bunking classes as 75% attendance is also necessary.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is Totally academic level which is easy to moderate There are only one or two coding subjects which is done in form of workshops The overall syllabus is good but old and is related to aktu syllabus which needs a change and won't help in technical field a lot Curriculum is still moderate and easy to clear but still some students are back and detained due to less attendance Which is the biggest issue in this college that is 85% u can only take 6-7 holidays in a semester which is so less and two three holiday will let u detained in sessionals which will overall decrease the internal marks in your overall cgpa of college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum gets better from this year as so many changes occur due to college become autonomous Like a better coding platform bought by college for student i.e. CODETANTRA and some subjects of 2nd year introduced in the 1st year like COLD and DSTL , Promoting students to participate in Hackathon by mailing to the students about each and every big or small hackathon . Giving them free attendance for that thing . The frequency of exams are about 20 days .
