Selected this college and course with Engineering cut off, Anna University - preferred Biology related engineering group - no other colleges having this course that suits my engineering cut off, so preferred Bannari Amman Institute after hearing its reputation in Erode district list of colleges

Course curriculum includes, Microbiology - study of micro organisms -life cycle - its importance - features etc, immunology - study of immune system of our body- features and response of cells, cell damage, pain relief mechanism - Enzyme technology, plant Biotechnology, nano technology, chemical technology, Bio-chemistry - it deals with the study of molecular structures such as glucose fructose energy cycle and so many additional papers we studied as electives

Bannari Amman Sugars, Bannari Amman - Bio fertilizers, and Distilleries were part of Bannari Amman groups that was located near the college. This helps the Biotechnology students to get easy exposure towards all these areas in practical with one month internship with a stipend of around 5000 to 7000 rupees for the students

Bannari Amman Institute was well known for its placements & Job oppurtunities, During my period 2004-2008 placement were almost 90& and those who dont have arrears will be placed surely in a IT company, some of the companies came for placement & their offers at that time mentioned below Caterpillar - 6 LPA CTS - 3LPA, NTT DATA- 2.75 LPA, HCL - 2.5LPA, i GATE 2.5 LPA, Accenture - 3LPA, US Technologies - 2.5LPA, Infosys - 3 LPA so many other companies

Fee structure during 2004 - 2008 was ok type we have around 75k as yearly fees including hostel & other fees. Overall around 3 lakhs for completing the course without donations

Hostel rooms are 4 sharing based -its well maintained and having many badminton & shuttle courts to play with women's hostel having Basket ball court inside Mess is the BEST place you can see in the college, at a time around 1000 - 1500 students can eat thats the best part & its a BUffet always!! It's a Boon to food lovers u can eat a lot

Nature club is still in great form creating awareness to students and conducts trekking monthly with the aid of volunteers, Placement cell have lot of activities with the Alumini students by starting alumini chapter and other activities including the volunteers

Exams are pretty normal and similar to that of all other engineering colleges, Labs were utilized more to have practical exposure rather than theoretical boring classes in afternoons especially

Faculties were very well organized and they were helpful to the students in all possible means, Most of the faculties completed Phd.doctorate degree and others completed their higher studies.
