Good remark- A place to grow and learn. Bad remark- No student can go out without permission of the campus. Every student should be given a period of time to go out everyday.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is based on the FFCS( Fully Flexible Credit System). In this system, you can choose your own faculty and own slots of classes of your choice. The CALTech too helps you with the innovative studies all over the university. The examination structure is, they conduct three examinations in an academic semester i.e. CAT1, CAT2 and TEE. The marks of these three examinations are combined with the internal marks to calculate the perfect CGPA.
Placement Experience
For now, no badge has been rolled out from the college yet but this year would be the first batch to roll out and the companies would come. In addition, the MCA Students have already done with their placements. They are very happy and thriving with an average package of 6.7 lakhs per annum. And for the internships, they have provided some links of online internship which we can avail during the lockdown period.
College Events
This is a college full of events and festivals. Various students form various cultures come in our college so we get a huge collaboration with many cultural revolution. The cultural events make every community happy, as they get a chance to outrage and show their culture to others. So, as the technical events i.e. the robo race, science fair, drone competitions etc. Many technical events are being conducted over the college during the fest. The fest " AdVITya" consists of technical, cultural and official events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Yes, the fee structure is not so high for a private institution. Feasibility depends on the financial status of the students itself. Yes, the additional fees( the fees for the revaluation and the supplimentary examinations).The college provide you enough transparency in the fee breakdown.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers scholarship to the top 1000 VITEEE ranks and I have applied for the one. So I don't know much about it.
Campus Life
Okay. Campus Life is good( tolerable). Gender ratio is 60:40 And the extracurricular is at extreme, you can opt for anything here. The facilities for sports, photography is overwhelming here. There are many clubs here, where you can be a member of. For instance, the photography club has many faculties to guide you regarding the photography. And many competitions take part over the college. The GarVIT, aVITar are the two e-baja and m-baja teams of our college. The club's such as EmoVIT club, Robotics club, photography club, Mun club, arts club, Nature and trekking Club.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I have opt for the hostel allowance. The advance fees is 30000 which you have to give before hostel room allotment and the rest after you get your room. The hostel room fees depends on the room you opt for, i.e. we have options between ( 2 bed, 3 bed, 4 bed, 6 bed, 8 bed). So, naturally the cost of 2 bed is higher than the rest and so on the price differs. For instance, the hostel fees for an 4 bed NAC is 106000. ( Including the mess food)
Alumni/Alumna
Yes the senior Students are very helpful here. Infact, unlike the other colleges we never experienced ragging over here. Every alumni and seniors help you out with everything.
Admission
We got the admission by an entrance exam which was held in an examination centre on 12th April, 2018. Then they conduct the counseling dates regarding your VITEEE rank. The VITEEE is the examination of Vellore institute of technology to get the admission
Faculty
We know every faculty over here has completed his/her PhD and they are so well knowledged and experienced to teach the courses of their own expertise. VIT BHOPAL offers 100% doctoral faculty and yes, it's true. All the faculty members are so helpful and caring.
