Remarks
In the future, it may be IIST which will be very good for our college. This proposal has been gone to parliament, I don't how much time it will take to give the decision, ISRO president is also taken their doctorate degree from this college which very positive thing.
Course Curriculum Overview
I want to get a master's degree so I take admission to this college, I think for students who are interested to go in teaching line in engineering it's good to take admission with gate and getting a stipend, I got 12400 stipends from aicte.
Placement Experience
It's my 1st year so I don't have much knowledge about this but in these limited days which I looked at college, about 5-6 good companies visited our college for Btech students, most companies are from IT Sector.
College Events
Till which I seen in 6 months are: Sports events, Entrepreneurship event, Cultural fest. Physics fest In March a technical fest is going to organized. A few days ago Saraswati puja is celebrated by our different streams.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's very good My annual fee structure: College fee 41000, Hostel fee 30000, College campus fee 12000. So I can say that it's not too much And I can pay this fairly. I don't have an idea about the BTech fee structure, I think their fee is about 45000 /year.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am getting a gate scholarship which is given by aicte to gate-cleared students who are pursuing their MTech or Ph.D. I am pursuing my master's degree so I'm getting 12400. There are also some other scholarships by the Odisha government. And by other state governments.
Campus Life
The college community is good, the gender ratio is normal. Till I didn't visit any workshop I visited lab which is good, in this college 70-80 % students are from Odisha I think here only 0. 2% students are Muslim 2 Sikh.
Alumni/Alumna
A few days ago an alumni sports event is organized which is well managed by 3rd year and final year students. Seniors are very good and helpful, my seniors helped our batch to fill gate fellowship, some of our seniors assigned for our lab and they are helping us a lot.
Admission
I got admission through GATE, 1st of all I applied offline then I registered online at the time of registration, then candidates are shortlisted according to their merit, then counseling is scheduled and I got admission.
Faculty
They are very nice and friendly, teaching appreciates and relevant things which help the students, teachers are very helpful some faculties are very good with there knowledge in there dream. In my view faculties are pretty good.
