Remarks

College Management has to improve a lot. This college has a lot of potential if the placement opportunities are provided.

Entrance Preview

Entrance exam was CET. Rank was not good. So I got this college. It is a vast campus but if you keep placements in mind then don't join this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course curriculum is dictated by VTU. The faculty has to do the same. Its given in the syllabus copy of every semester. It has to followed for securing good marks.

Internships Opportunities

There is no such thing as internship provided here. If you want you will have to try outside and fetch the internship. Do not rely on college only. Search outside.

Placement Experience

0.5

No placements what so ever. You will have try on your own. Only false promises would be made at the beginning but at the end you will have to fend for yourself

College Events

2.5

College fest is called 'Esperanza'. Happens once in a year and sometimes it doesn't because of lack of funds and sponsors. The event is kind of funny due to no control of the crowd entering in.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible only because it is situated in the rural part of Bangalore. Not much demand for college seats. So its is not expensive. It is affordable.

Fees and Financial Aid

I doubt if there is scholarship provided by the college. A certain amount would be waived if you have good percentage and that too is not guaranteed.

Campus Life

3

The campus is very vast around 25 acres. Sports event happen which involves cricket, football and other sports as well. The mech dept always win the cricket tournament.

Hostel Facilities

3

There are separate hostels for both boys and girls. For boys there are two types, normal one and an international one.Normal costs around 60, 000 for a year and international one costs around 65, 000 a year. I feel this is expensive for the kind of facilities they offer.

Alumni/Alumna

Not many senior students don't show up because they want to forget their past. Some alumni is conducted every year and I don't find many old students turning up.

Exam Structure

The exams were conducted as per the rules and regulations laid out by VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University). There will be invigilators in the college during the exams.Labs are kind of OK. Not state of the art and stuff. BUT you have what is needed to clear the lab practicals.

Faculty

3

Faculty members are of mixed types. Some are good, some are even better. I feel they do their part of the work it is upto us to learn and write exams well.

Placement Experience:

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities
