Remarks

College management is good. They try their best to take care of all.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is good. Great chance of exposure to various things. Labs and classroom studies are good. One can show his/her talent and get opportunities to do so. Also, placement is good. One may follow the passion and can go for research and development.

Placement Experience

4

The placement is good. One may have many opportunities to be placed. Many MNCs will come and also a few product-based company also.

College Events

4

Events celebrated there are many as the two main events are technical and cultural fest. Apart from that freshers and farewell party organized on a branch level. Many technical events and seminars happen from time to time. Good opportunity for all to learn new things and showcase their talents.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is moderate. Many will find it feasible but many will find it expensive. The fee decided for a year. The fees follow Tuition fees, Hostel fees, Training fees, etc. One has the option to stay at a hostel or not. The fee is taken mainly in cash mode or DD mode.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there are ways to avail the scholarships and student loans. All the banks provide the loan for admission into this college.

Campus Life

4.5

Gender Ration depends on the branch like in CSE/IT there will be around 30-40% of girls but in other branches, the ratio is less where mechanical and civil bears the lowest. Sports events are organized on yearly basis and a lot of sports and athletics are organized.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel is nice for boys and very good for girls. One may find many options there also. Now there are options including Ac/Non Ac. Food is quite average as expected. I will suggest staying at the hostel for at least one year. This will be a lifetime memory.

Alumni/Alumna

The Alumni network is nice. We connect sometimes and cherish our college and hostel days. It was fun. Connected with our faculties and seniors also.

Admission

Got admission through Jee Mains Exam. After getting rank in the merit list of Jee Mains Exam, I went through the counseling process and then got admission. Generally, in august, the session starts and the counseling process continues for about 2 months i.e. from May to June.

Faculty

3.5

Faculties are nice and helpful, few are strict as well but overall one will learn a lot from them. Even the junior teachers are also good and have a good supporting staff. If one has a good attendance then semesters and internals will be fine for him/her.

I would rate five out of five about the curriculum of the giet university because it is more updated in comparison of other universities of odisha. The exams are taken in the gap of one and a half month. There is no need to update the curriculum
