Remarks

Jamia has almost all the courses provided in India. If you had bad schooling marks then also you can take admission in Jamia through entrance which is quite easy as compared to du. Campus is also very beautiful. Faculty is quite helpful. Staff member are also very helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum is little bit out of date. But they have said that they are going to change the curriculum for the upcoming years ( from 2020 batch )i. e for the new students. Exams are semester types. My course had 7 subjects for each semester exams. Each semester has 4 months of classes.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are one of the important reason for students to join our college. There are many top companies that show up for placements. I think this year nearly 15-20 companies showed up already. Package is also pretty good. I think for freshers the package they provide are really acceptable.

College Events

4.5

There are a lot of events celebrated in our college. V-bazar is a special event that is conducted in our college. V-bazer gives opportunity for students to put up stalls and can sell food or accessories or conduct games. This helps students to showcase their entrepreneurship skills.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is feasible for us. But for the junior students they have increased the fees. I think it is a quite expensive for the junior students. The fees for BBA costs around 40000, i. e. for 2017-2020, they fee structure differs from batch 2018.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know much about scholarships and loan facilities. But I think, there are scholarships available for students with high cut off mark on their 12th std. I think scholarships are available for ug students with good ug CGPA, who wish to join pg in our college itself. But I dont know about the complete details about it.

Campus Life

3

I think everyone would never get an opportunity to play sports. They mostly select National or state or district level players for every inter college tournaments. They do conduct inter department sports meet too. But the chance of getting chances to play is low. Extra curricular activities are pretty good. Eg: culturals by every department, v-bazar etc

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels are pretty good. They renewed the infrastructure six months ago. There 4 seater and 2 seaters. 4 seaters are shared by 4 person. They have two double cot beds. 4 tables and wardrobes etc. The cost of two person/seater room is pretty higher than the 4 seater room. The annual fee of the hostel is 70000( aprox), And two seater would cost about 82000( aprox). The cost includes food. Food is Good. Totally I would give 7. 5 out of 10 for hostel

Alumni/Alumna

First of all a fresher party is usually given in colleges to increase interaction with seniors and provide exposure for special talents. We have good number of alumni who are doing really well. Our seniors are really helpful throughout our academics.

Admission

There are two streams of getting into sastra. Stream1- 70% seats will be allocated(IPE+JEE Mains) If you get IPE marks of around 95% and in JEE 120+ ; you can get a seat in Sastra(except CSE and ECE, so to get this branches one needs to get high score a story are demanded branches in Sastra) Stream2-30% seats will be allocated(only IPE marks) for this stream there will be more competition, sif one having 98. 8%(according to 2019 statistics) + in IPE you have the chance of getting the branch you like. I applied through stream 2 an day IPE marks are 980(in 2016). They called me for second counselling and I have chosen Bioengineering.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty here are sincere and want to be perfect at their job. Faculty plays a major role in guiding you through out your course. They are really kind helpful. They will be suggesting good colleges for your higher studies. They also teaches us well. They clarify doubts. This happens in almost all the branches. All faculty are kind enough to help you with your academics. They are student friendly.

Placement Experience:

The placement process begins from the third year i.e. the fifth and sixth sem. But be warned the placement is pure dabba. The companies that visited are goldman sachs, pick your trail, venture lts, greenbay, taj, audible, TCS, etc. the package varies from 3.4 LPA to 12 LPA. These are just peanut money btw. The college says there's 100% placements ( joke of the century) but in reality only 70% gets placed. I plan to do MBA from a different college.
