- Campus is really great and most of the students are friendly
- Many facilities like gyms, general stores, atms etc are available
- Hostels are pretty comfortable and food is also fine p
Dislikes
- Cost of items at the general store and foodcourt
- Delivery riders are not allowed to deliver food within campus and cant take food to room
- The football fields condition is pretty bad due to a lack of maintenance
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very relevant and the college provides us with a wide variety of opportunities for preparing for a job and furthermore a library with books dating back to 1947 is available which can be accesed easily and is quite useful
Internships Opportunities
Not me but my cousin got an internship with goldman sachs after which she was directly recrutied by the company and is now working in new york in a high ranking position with the company. The quality of the companies coming for campus recruitment is generally really good here at PSGCAS
Placement Experience
After the completion of the course the college offers 3 types of services The first one offers guidance for entrepreneurs who wish to start their own businesss The second one is offering guidance to students whose family's own a business and they are going to join the businesses The third one is the placement option where the college offers placement to a wide vareity of top companies in and out of india such as goldman sachs and so on
Fees and Financial Aid
I came in through the self financed merit quota for the Bachelor of Business Administration- Retail Management program and am paying 68000 per semester. Financial assistance is provided in the forms of aidied programs for students on the basis of availability and if the students meet the necessary criteria
Campus Life
There are a qide variety of clubs available on campus ranging from the dance club, road safety club, anti drug club and many more to which the students can easily apply. Furthermore a student wing of the national defence is also available here called the NCCA to which application is quite easy and is very beneficial
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are pretty good. There are 3 hostels for boys within the campus NRI Hostel, VOC Hostel, and Bharathi Hostel in which Bharathi is the cheapest with 4 to 5 people sharing and a common bathroom. Voc hostel has attached bathrooms and 4 to 5 people sharing and finally, Nri hostel has 2 to 3 people sharing with attached bathroom. Food is average but hygienic and is available in large quantities
Admission
The admission process was pretty smooth ot started with a counselling session in which i got my seat in the program then there was a document verification session. The only problem with the admission process was the duration of the document verification session
Faculty
Faculty and teachers are really great can be easily approached and are always accessible. They are also well versed about the subjects they teach and provide ample amount of resosurces for reference and preparation for exams
