One of the best colleges in kerala

Its my pleasure that I got a chance to study in one of the best autonomous college which is highly recognized. I love my college because I experienced my best moments in the college life is in St.berchamans(SB) college. I'm proud to say I'm a product of SB college.

Msc.Biotechnology is a course which related to lifescience.It is a self financing course.This is a good course in the aspects of research. The duration of course is 2 academic.years with 4 semester including practicals in each sem. we can study with a chilled peace of mind.

There is no placements provided by the college for the course related companies such as biotech firms. But, there are opportunities to get placed in other fields like comerce.Biotech students can also participate in their placement programmes. Some of the teachers gives chances to help students to get placed by providing placement assistance. There is no internship facilities provided by our college.

There are unions to conduct several programmes in the college.After elections union will comduct union day, Arts day, Sports day, college day, alumni programmes, department fests, college fests etc. All programmes are celebrated like festivals with full participation from the teaching staffs, non teaching staffs and the students. Here college will make sure the participation of PG students too that's something appreciable.

Msc.Biotechnology course is a self finance course in St.berchmans college which is affiliated to mahatma gandhi university kottayam. 35000 is the fees per sem(4 semesters) it includes the lab fees, library fees etc. Compared to other colleges providing same course the fees is feasible here in st.berchmans college.

The college will provide scholarship for the students that is financially poor with academic excellence. There are also loans available for the students for their studies. If the student need some more time for paying fees with a reason the college will give more time.

St.berchmans college provides equal importance to extracurricular activities with the academics. The college conducted sports day and SB trophy for students who have sports skills and college conducted Arts day for finding the talents in culturals and the selected students can represent college in Mg university arts fest.There is no discrimination based on gender, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status. All students are treated equal by the rules and regulations provided by the college norms.

alumni network is very strong in our college by conducting alumni meets by department level and the college level. The senior students will have great interaction with juniors in each fests conducted in our college. In my experience keep in touch with the alumni and seniors will be very helpful.

I appeared for an allotmont process conducted by St.Berchmans college chenganassery(Autonomous) in their official page.I choose this college because St.berchmans college is ranked in 62nd position in NIRF college ranking and the college is well recognized.

There are highly qualified faculties are here to teach students.All are qualified with UGC NET. All teaching faculties has high enthusiasm towards their proffeesion.They will help you as a guide snd assist you in studies. They provides notes and study materials to help their students.
