I had done my diploma in Electronics Engineering from Thakur Polytechnic, Kandivali, Mumbai which was of 3years. In the final year I scored 83.70%. Further to pursue my BE everything was online on merit basis, and I got my admission in Atharva College on basis of by Merit.
Course Curriculum Overview
My stream was Electronics engineering, so all the subjects were based on electronics, networking, robotics, devices. The stream thought the importance of electronics in todays world.
Internships Opportunities
There were no internship provided in our college. But I think internship should be a part of the system as it gives you a good practical experience which is more important and useful when we go for a job, as we come to know how a company exactly runs. Apart from studies there are many more things which are required to be learned.
Placement Experience
Placement was quite good. Mostly maximum company's that came were all software companies. So the IT people got good placement as compared to the technical or hardware ones. Yearly minimum 8-9 companies visit our college for placement.
College Events
There were many events organized in our college campus. IEEE was the most technical and exciting event. Rhythm was the annual festival was celebrated on a very big level. Techiton was also one of a technical event and many more events were celebrated.
Fees and Financial Aid
As per my knowledge there no scholarship provided by our college facility. And I have never availed a scholarship anytime. Also I had never heard about the loan facility during my tenure in the college.
Alumni/Alumna
Genuinely speaking I am not in touch with the Alumni network although I am the member of Alumni, as I am busy with my job which involves hardcore travelling across India.
Exam Structure
No, Labs were very interesting as we get to learn the things practically. And as per my thinking exams are a part of the structure so we have to take it in a good spirit.
Faculty
Faculty was very nice. All were very young professors who just passed their graduation or post graduation. So, it was very easy to connect with them as there is no age gap. And per my thinking people of same or nearby age group understand each other more.
