Remarks

The course carriculum is all good, it is properly designed and everything related to studies are carried on properly though not in the best way but okay. Teachers everytime tries to come with something innovative in order to make it more effective but things sometimes really don't go that smooth. They have to face problems apart from this students also suffer in this new type of experiment and mostly teachers are new in campus and don't have much teaching experience so there the damage is more. Main problem here is with the new teachers who are being employed they don't possess the teaching experience which I think is the key point for effective learning of students which we lack here.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course carriculum is all good, it is properly designed and everything related to studies are carried on properly though not in the best way but okay. Teachers everytime tries to come with something innovative in order to make it more effective but things sometimes really don't go that smooth. They have to face problems apart from this students also suffer in this new type of experiment and mostly teachers are new in campus and don't have much teaching experience so there the damage is more.

Placement Experience

3

We have special cell for the placement and internship purpose which assists the students in getting jobs and internship but the truth is that it is not that effective as it is unable to bring good law firm to the college because of which the average package of the college is very less and mostly the students who get employed are mainly through PPO or some kind of source, our college is unable to secure the job for the students which I think is the big failure on its part.

College Events

3

Our sports committee is one of the most active committee amongst the other committees of the college, it almost every month tries to arrange for one or the other event apart from this we use to have some cultural events and nights but now they bearly take place, only some events like sanctilla which is specially for first year students and Hindi diwas that whole college celebrate as ethnic day in which students wear traditional clothes.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of our college is comparatively i think is much more than the facilities and services that are being offered and specially the quality of education which we are given I think don't fullfill the bench mark which it should be as per the fees we are being charged. And also the college every year increases some amount of fees for the new batch means that there is continuous rise in the fees for the coming batches but no improvement in the quality of studies and other extracurricular activities.

Fees and Financial Aid

No i didn't have any. I tried to took loan from my local bank but I faced many procedural problems and this all was very difficult for me to do as I have to again and again for continuous one month rome around the bank for stupid things and ultimately in the end they denied saying that the documents are not sufficient.

Campus Life

3

The gender ratio of boys to that of girls will be 1:1, moving on to parties and cultural events I think our college don't support such things except workshops that to related to our courses. We have several communities in our college like moot, debate, sports, theatre, etc which is run by main student head i. e. NILSA of our college. One thing to be proud of our college is that students come from all over the India and all fell secured here means not any kind of threat is seen here.

Alumni/Alumna

There is a strong bond among the students and this helps in maintaining the relationship with alumni.

Admission

I got admission in ILNU based on my CLAT entrance exam and the merit list which was issued by the college based on the CLAT exam result. So I was having rank around 1800 and got the admission in year 2017. On 21st May we were called for the admission process and from 10th June our college commenced with the orientation and after 3-5 days of orientation our regular classes were started.

Faculty

3

We have around 5-6 lectures a day and sometimes it may extend to 6 due to incomplete course, but the main problem here is with the new teachers who are being employed they don't possess the teaching experience which I think is the key point for effective learning of students which we lack here.

Placement Experience:

Our campus placements start from 4th year and like by the end of 5th year, most students are placed. Many corporate firms and with Gift City setting up most jobs were offered in the GIFT CITY. Even almost all the top law firms also have their branches in Ahmedabad and so that is where placements are done.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the major reasons why I chose this course was that this was very unique , bsc in data science along with LLB is very new in the market, although it has it's own drawbacks, in the real world, there is not much demand for technocrat lawyers right now but with time this will increase. The major improvement would be the inclusion of other fields of law like IP, arbitration etc. There are three components for exams, one is mid sems which is held in the starting two months of the semester and after two months is the end sems. The semester are pretty short which is why we get time for internships and which provides us very nice exposure for real-world.

Placement Experience:

After 4th year, students are eligible to sit for placements. Some students also receive a pre-placement offer in the 4th year itself. The students are first prepared for day zero, i.e., placement day, beforehand by conducting a mock interview, which is a voluntary session conducted by the placement committee. CV Vetting workshops are also conducted in the eighth semester because at the end of the 8th semester, the placements are made where tier-1 companies like Khaitan, AZB Partners, CAM, SAM, Trilegal, etc. In-house firms like Adani, ICICI Bank, Tata, and more come for recruiting students. Some students sit for placement; others who want to prepare for government exams like judiciary, UPSC, Public Prosecutor, etc. refrain from sitting in placements.

In a law firm, there are no placements you have to get knowledge and then you can go to practice under any lawyer whichever you want and then you can do an internship in under of that lawyer. And you can stay in your own firm also. My plans for after passed out to practice under a very prestigious lawyer and get experience.
