Remarks

So the negative part would be obvious the teaching quality and lack of quality teaching. Obviously you are joining this college become you couldn’t make it to IIt. Any yeah you wont get the teaching quality of those colleges but yeah you can always teach yourself.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

Okay so if you are only depend on the course you will learn nothing and exams would be like mugging and passing the exams. Although yeah the course that is designed for curriculum is what you will get in most universities like NITs.

Placement Experience

2.5

Yes, there are ample of opportunities in mediocre companies but if you looking for something like “Amazon”, “Google” then no. Although the placement cell is quiet active and you will get multiple opportunities to sit in placement drive for multiple companies.

College Events

4

So mainly there are two events that happen in Amity in each semester. One is ALF - Amity Literature Fest and Sangathan. The literature fest is something that consists of mainly the Technology aspect and all the Ramp walk and DJ nights. Sangathan is the fest that consists of all sports.

Fee Structure And Facilities

So the fee structure varies every year. For B. tech is ~75000 per semester the last two being the most expensive ones ~ 85000. The Hostel fees is ~60000 per year which includes only living expense. There are many options for food in the campus per meal cost varying from 50 -150 depending on where you eat from.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the college prove scholarships the criteria is you should have 90% or above in your 12th standard you get 50% waiver on you course fees to continue your scholarship in second and the years coming after that you should be the top 10% amongst your batch.

Campus Life

3.5

So there are ample of other activities specially in sports there is Table tennis, basketball, football, cricket, shooting range, horse riding, volleyball, snooker, Gymnasium. Moving to academics part there are many clubs which you could be part of such as Robotics club, Entrepreneurship cell. The sex Ratio is actually good compared to other colleges.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

We have compulsory hostel residence. Rooms are a 1 bhk flat With attached toilet bathroom A balcony It is shared among 3 people. We have electricity and water 24×7. The campus is guarded. Each student has his own compartment.

Alumni/Alumna

So the alumni network of Amity is not that great although some of our seniors are working in Amazon and Microsoft so they are quite an inspiration. Most of the seniors are helpful, just ping them for a referral you will get it instantly.

Admission

So as such there is no critical, the only criteria that you passed your 12th standard. Although they do conduct a test for entrance but it's irrelevant you will get admission either ways. Also in my opinion the only criteria is if you can pay the college fees.

Faculty

2

All faculty members are good and well qualified and supported us well throughout the course.

Placement Experience:

Integral University in the third of engineering asks us to take time out for placements training. Students who haven't done any internships are asked to do one or attend the workshops organized at the university. Thus in the final year, we are fully prepared and companies also are never disappointed as maximum students clear the interviews with ease.

Placement Experience:

My college has an average placement of 6LPA. Placement eligibility starts from the end of 5th semester, but when I got promoted to 5th semester, placements declined due the the restructuring in placement cell. So our batch missed the opportunity to attend any placements. In year 2022, the highest placement was around 22LPA and in year 2023, it declined to 9 LPA as there was restructuring in team. After getting my degree I will look for carrier opprotunities on my own, as I have not experienced any placement in my college years.
