Madhu Bn's Review On Acharya Institute Of Technology - [AIT], Bangalore

CET, I dont remember the exact score but I got around 60% in the entrance exam. As per my ranking allotted this was the best college available for me.I was very much interested in computers. This made me to choose computers branch.

We had totally eight semesters in the academics. First two semesters were common for all branches. From third semester on wards we entered into core subjects of our branch computer science. We had labs in few semesters and mini project in 5th and 6th semester. At the end of course we had one main project to get entitled for the bachelors degree.

No companies approached our college and even our college didn't approach any companies to provide internship for their students.We went out and found suitable company for the internship. Few paid some fee to perform internship in small scaled companies.

Only two companies came for campus interview. Out of those two companies offered job for five students. The salary range they offered in our college was less when compared to the salary they offered in some reputed colleges.

College management was more interested in completing their infrastructure. So much events has been organised by the college.The single event celebrated by the college was annual festival.

No. Scholarships were not honored by the college. Getting loan was also difficult as our financial conditions so finally managed with outside loans.

Campus life was good as it was a new experience to me. I felt overall happy with the struggle and learning. Initially it was not a easy move due to some personal problems but later got adjusted.

Once entered to IT industry, meeting alumni personally became difficult. With the help of social media it became quite simple. Whenever we come across old memories we share them via social media with group members.

Exam structure was handled by the university. Our college was not deemed university. College was adhered to university exam rules. Overall exam structure and labs were good. The only problem faced while appearing for regular exams along with back logs.

Faculty was not so great, as there were many BE completed students joined as lecturers. Mtech was not mandatory during our academics duration. More than that ours was new college at that time.
