Remarks

College administration staff behaviour is so bad they are very irresponsible they made mistakes in marksheet and if you ask them to correct it then they fined you for all that and never accept there mistakes.

Course Curriculum Overview

Msc maths is base of science. It helps in getting doctorate in physics and maths and it provide you the chance in the research field. Msc mathematics help in industries too built a operation by which you can distribute work each and everyone equally.

Placement Experience

Yes, placement and internship provided by college. every year 50-70 companies visit to IIT ROORKEE for placement and internship. Around 50-60 % students got placement and internship through college. 90% students got placed from electrical.

College Events

Each and every department organise there events where various of programmes take place. In these events there are different different type of competition like project making, poster representation, quiz competition and speech competition. College yearly organise there fest in which celebrity comes and sings song and dj night held there too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Every course fee is minimum 45k-55k and according to programme its increases or decreases. If we see other universities fee is too much compared to other colleges. In university of delhi there yearly fee is approximately 7k-10k.

Fees and Financial Aid

College don't provide any kind of scholarships or loan facilities to the students. There are no such kind of scholarship or loan facilities available there. Even they are interested in providing any kind of scholarships to students.

Campus Life

In course other than B. tech. there is huge gap between gender ratio. There are girls in large no. approximately 85% seats are reserved for girls if there are 60 seats for students then there are 50-53 girls. But SPORTS facilities are very poor. They don't have big grounds and no sports events are organised here

Alumni/Alumna

It depends on you how you talk them and how you give respect to them if you give respect to seniors they will obviously help you otherwise no one will help you in this. They provide you notes and other information too.

Admission

I gave entrance exam and I got admission by counselling. They take too much too time during admission but they completed in one day. Admission process is also hectic because of administration staff they took long time during fees submition.

Faculty

Faculty of Maths department having phd from various iit's from India and they provide you the best knowledge of their own subject. Some teachers are so good they provide you the best you can get from them.

Infrastructure and campus life is good but there is no placement offers and lack of lab work

The course curriculum is really good. The syllabus is relevant and beneficial for the students who prepare for compititive exams like CSIR NET. Practicals mentioned in the syllabus are also updated in terms of today's research ideas but the department lack necessary lab work, they do not have proper lab facilities.

Life of a general category student in YMCA University

I had also applied for the Delhi University and Delhi technological University for the BBA course and I got confirmed my admission in Delhi University but I didn't get the BBA course in that college because they demands maths as a compulsory subject in 12th standard but I am from commerce without mathematics background so that's why I had chosen this college for my graduation Yes I get rejection from other colleges which I had applied to because I don't have maths mathematics subjects in 12th standard as compulsory so that's why did and get the BBA course in that colleges the thing which when from there was I don't have mathematics as a compulsory subject in my 12th standard and I think that's the mistake which I had made .
