Remarks

The college is overall a good one. Looks forward in supporting students in shaping their future and also with certain strict rules and regulations it makes sure students do attend college regularly. And by providing students with better job opportunities. It is growing gradually.

Entrance Preview

To get into Engineering Colleges there are many entrance tests like IIT, JEE but I had taken up CET. gpt a rank around 13K and i was interested in electronics and hence opted this course. And the college was quite close by to where i reside and hence I got myself admitted to this college. The selection procedure was done online where we had to choose the particular courses and colleges and then we get the seat according to the vacancies in the college. And thankfully I got the course which I like.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Vishveshvariya Technological University is what our courses of Engineering comes under. The first year consists of all the subjects of engineering like civil, electrical, computer science and mechanical and is common for all students. And from the second year our actual field of course subjects start.

Internships Opportunities

College does offer internship courses. Bosch, and other start up companies offer these courses for about 3 to 6 months and the general stipend which are offered are 10k and some usually depending upon the companies.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are increasing annually and the training is also given to attend the placements. Job opportunities are are good and most of them get placed. Companies life Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HP, IBM, HCL and Bosch and many other reputed companies have visited and many have been been placed. Packages varying from 2 to 8lpa have been offered depending on the posts and the companies accordingly.

College Events

3.5

There are many events which take place. technical talks, events like debates, paper presentations, workshops are being held regularly.Culturally we have fests which held every year and famous for its inter college fest Colloseum which is held yearly once. ALso we celebrate intra college departmental fests. Ethnic day, Environmental Day are also held.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible for students who enter through CET, and management are different. If entering through CET it'll cost around 40k+20k as college fees for labs and other stuff. And if Management it'll be from 90k depending upon the courses opted. It also has MBA and MTech courses.

Fees and Financial Aid

As far as my knowledge it does not offer any loan but does offer scholarships for a students coming from a little low settled background with a few documentation procedures and the scholarship is based annually. And also to students with different quotas.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is quite good. Since the college is located a little out of the city life the surroundings are quite nice and good. they conduct a lot of workshops be it robotics, or for computer science students programming workshops are held and they also encourage students to participate in competitions which are held in other colleges. There are also anti-ragging comities to stop the ragging on campus and they have also set up cctv's for better surveillance on the campus.

Hostel Facilities

4

There are nice facilities for hostels for both girls and boys. They offer nice accommodation with average and affordable rentals. The sharing is also pretty good. South Indian food is given to the students with lighting and wi-fi facilities too. The rentals are below 5k per month per student with the sharing facility too.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni do visit the college regularly and share their experience with the students and the teachers and do share a lot of knowledge which can help the students in choosing better careers and do guide us in a nice way. They attend the seminars which are held and also interact with the students and the teachers.

Exam Structure

Exam pattern is like we have Internals which are held every month that is totally 3 internals which include both theory and lab. And then we have lab and theory externals are held for a month or so and we have sufficient study holidays between each exam so its not that hectic. But since it goes on for almost a month it gets boring which is the only drawback.

Faculty

4

The faculty are all well trained and experienced. And they are all very friendly and helpful when it comes to sharing their knowledge with the students. They are all very regular and punctual to their work of teaching.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.
