Placements, infrastructure and advancement in class designs are the pros. So much of technological festivals and cultural festivals. While the cons are some outdated subjects, some teacher being boring and other small issues which can be happily ignored.

The course structure has been made keeping in mind the GATE syllabus. I have cross checked multiple times and I found that 80-90% of the gate syllabus was already known to me. When it comes to placement, then I would say my university is one of the best university of the entire eastern India. For a computer engineering student, placement packages start from 4 lakhs to 42 lakhs. And more than 100 companies visit for placements. College definitely provides internship opportunities because numerous companies visit our campus for internship recruitment. Number of internship offers are lesser than placement offers but that never bothered any of us.

It's expensive. Almost 4 lakhs per annum including hostel fees. Choosing 2 bedded AC may cost higher. But the cleanliness of campus, the infrastructure and the management definitely needs the investment.

Boy to girl ratio is 3:1 considering all the departments of Engineering like mechanical and civil. Cultural societies are in dozens. Girls are given a lot of freedom compared to other universities or institutions. No strict rules or restrictions for any type of costumes for girls.

The alumni network is strong but there isn't much interaction between students and senior students. But if someone joins ant club or society then seniors will interact. Often students are under a lot of studies or cultural activities that anyone hardly finds time to interact with seniors.

All the teachers are highly qualified and most of the teachers are passed from IIT or NIT. But not every teacher will give 100% effort in teaching. In every semester I have encountered one or two faculty whose classes are boring and I had to refer youtube tutorials.
