Course Curriculum Overview
The course includes subjects such as busines research methods, research methodology which help us in understanding research. Other than that most of the subjects have certain portion assigned to experiential learning. The exam structures is hectic as there are three exams in a day at times.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario is great. The average stipend is 15 lakhs per annum. Yes, the college provides internship opportunities as well. I will be interning with ABFRL and my stipend will be around 65k per month for a Period of two years.
College Events
Annual cultural fest - NEEV, it is one of the largest B-School fests in India. Management Fests- Stratomania, Yashasvi, Augustus. All these fests are attended by participants from b schools across the nation.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is around 19.5 lakhs. It is feasible considering the placements opportunities that are provided. For a four semester program each semester costs around 4.8 lakhs. Fees is expected to increase this year.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are clean and all facilities are provided except air conditioning. There is no need for PGs as there are enough rooms for all students. One hostel is inside the hostel premises, another just opposite the college and the third is metres away from the college.
Admission
First I had to give SNAP in which I score 99.4. Then I I was shortlisted for their GEPIWAT process since I cleared the cutoff for SCMHRD. The GE-PI-WAT process consisted of a group exercise, a personal interview and a word association test. After this a merit list was formed in which 50% weightage was given to SNAP score and other 50 to GEPIWAT score. I made it to the merit list and was shortlisted.
Faculty
Most of the faculties are PHD. It's fun always learning from them. The subjects are taught in a way so as to include case studies, assignments, quizzes and peer learning. This helps to create overall enthusiasm for subjects. There are audit courses as well which are voluntary.
