Remarks

The college infrastructure is the best one can see and faculty's quality is visibly remarkable. Though the placement cell is weak and the cafeteria of the college is sub standard. There are various flaws in the college but the positives are enough to cover them.

Entrance Preview

I took Common entrance test (CET) was taken by me in which students had to take up the test which involved sections checking knowledge of students on the fronts of legal aptitude, quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning,English and general knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

The course curriculum is a bit haphazard but it is not very tough. If some efforts are directed towards a particular subject then it is easy to clear it but it is also not a cakewalk at the same time.

Internships Opportunities

None of the companies came to the college however at the end of second year four semesters students had to undergo compulsory internship of at least four weeks with a litigating advocate or a firm which they had to find on their own and in it stipend was based upon the discretion of the advocate with whom the student in interned.

Placement Experience

1

Unfortunately the placement cell in the college is only for the sake of name but is not very much effective as it does not provide enough opportunity to the students to be placed in various companies as top notch and highly rated advocates and legal advisors because of its lack of interaction with with them.

College Events

1.5

The college celebrates events such as foundation day, moot court competitions on both intra and OK international level. Also the college celebrates fests such as recently concluded gravity fest which in its first time became a kind of success.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is expensive which amounts to 63,800 per annum consisting of two semesters It's almost 64,000 rupees for a year. Though the college aims at providing education for a professional degree but the fee structure is on a high side.

Fees and Financial Aid

As such no particular scholarship programme but college provides information as about the debate and moot court competitions and examinations which provide students with scholarship opportunities.

Campus Life

2

Gender ratios in my course is marginally biased on the side of male students Workshops and seminars to encourage students are conducted on regular basis in which resource persons are eminent personalities with regard to ethnic racial and economic differentiation and discrimination such incidents are not yet been visible. Sports are integral part of the college as the football team of my college has second time in a row won the finals in the annual sports meet in the university Also the cricket, badminton, volleyball, table tennis and chess teams are brilliant in their own spheres.

Hostel Facilities

1

No hostel facility in the college campus of any where nearby in the appurtenance. But for a wide enough campus the hostel was feasible but however anything close to a mess is a college canteen which is not up to the mark and the food provided by it is of such nature which is better off not to let our money being spent upon it.

Alumni/Alumna

Network is what you can yourself create to establish it the efforts of an individual are required same is the case with this college. The seniors are helpful and alumni students are also in touch with the current students. Networking and socialising is possible when people try to do it it does not happen on its own as the campus of college is quite vast.

Exam Structure

Exams pattern is a bit hectic as a few days only after beginning of the semester the internal exams start and continuously go on for a week then hardly 15-20 after it another internal exams commence on the similar lines as the former one and after a few days of conclusion of both internals the external final semester exams start. There is only a limited respite for students from exams.

Faculty

1.5

The faculty is supportive well learned, knowledgeable and approachable. They provide with notes and information about examination material. Distinct from the stereo typical college faculty the faculty of this college really takes pain to teach the students.

Curriculum in law faculty is based on bare acts and case material provided by faculty itself. Study is totally case based and very comprehensive. I choose law after graduation because I find law very interesting subject and it is very interesting.

There are not as such campus placements but the students secure ppos from the law firms. Majority of the students do not go for corporates as the field diversified in judiciary, litigation etc. The placement cell is working hard to bring in companies for hiring.

The curriculum is good for the real world applications as the course teaches us about the practical work. They can improve their course by adding more moot court practices during the semester and by giving the students the opportunity to practically utilise the bookish knowledge they are gaining.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very much practical knowledge based and helps the students to grow there legal reasoning which helps them to prosper in the profession. Also it helps them to read and correlate the real time judgements being passed, this curriculum prepares the students to understand the reasoning behind the judgements. Though the curriculum is practical knowledge based it still requires many improvements as these case are old and some of them are even overruled, also the we have to write very long answers which needs to be changed as new methods like ooen text book exams can be adopted to improving.

After 2 years of integrated courses, you can become eligible for a job. In law, there is no company, but if you have good communication skills, you will be placed in one of the high courts or supreme courts under a senior lawyer. I don't know much about packages. My plan was to go to Oxford University for further studies.
