Course Curriculum Overview
The coursework is designed for preparing students for the CSIR-NET, an essential and aim of of many life science students. Labs are compulsory every day and the experiments are designed in a way such that each student's gets hand-on experience on many basics. Yes the days are Hectic because of the well planned and structured daily routine assigned to the students. Student also need to take up an extra foundation course from other schools of the University not related to their school ( For me Non- Life science course).

As the university harbours many schools training students in almost every field, well known companies and institutes come forward to take the students. Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is very feasible. As the university is a central government institute, the fees are very minimal and encourage students of rural background to avail quality education as well. Along with the minimal fees there are also state government scholarships to help the students.
Hostel Facilities
One hostel room is shared by 2 people. Hostels are well maintained and regularly cleaned. Seperate hostels for boys and girls are provided. University hostels accomodate almost all the students studying in the university.
Admission
The university offers various PG courseworks. School of Life sciences has several departments one of which is department of Biochemistry which is well known and one of the best in the whole country. The entrance exam is conducted throughout the nation. A total of 60 students were selected for the next round i e, interview. From the interview, a total of 6 students were selected for the Int.M.Sc - PhD course. While PG courses have an intake of around 25-30 students,their admission to the course does not include interview screening.
Faculty
Faculty of the college are highly qualified and experienced. Everyone has their one lab and are currently involved in research ang guiding PhD scholars. Their way of teaching is very well planned and organised.
