Course Curriculum Overview

Our course structure is very good and they focus on theory, practical and research. Professors emphasised the importance of research and pushed students to take that as a career option. Exams and labs were frequent, labs were weekly and exams were in periods of three months. Days were easy because of the good outline of the course.

Placement Experience

Our college is affiliated to the Calcutta University and hence we have a good number of students who get placed every year. Reputed companies come here for placements and offer good packages to students with great incentives.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This college is very affordable with the amount being just under ten thousand for the entire course. This especially helped me since I do not come from a very well off family but it gave me an opportunity to meet my personal career goals without putting financial pressure on my family.

Campus Life

College labs are always open to the students who want to do their own experiments under the lab assistant's supervision. Students can also join various teams for sports, take part in parades, join the NCC etc.

Admission

I filled the online form and I was called for offline counselling by an email and then I joined the college after attending the counselling . I had to join the college after two months of counselling that gave me ample time to prepare for college.

Faculty

Our faculty are all highly qualified in their fields and are very dedicated. They emphasise over importance of research and provide very good moral support and are also genuinely interested in overall growth of students.

I wanted to explore the CS stream from the beginning so I joined this program. The faculty: student ratio in BA is good and is around 1:7. All the teachers are well equipped and have complete knowledge of the subjects they are teaching. The exams were difficult as compared to the SPPU endsem exams, but that is expected from a college of such repute.

I choosen this course because of interest in the field of Information techn...ugy. Faculties are very good and they have good teaching experience. Qualification for the faculty is 7 to 8 years teaching experience and degree of PHD. Term exams held two times ever year. Difficulty is moderate.
