Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum is good and informative. The usage of labs and exam are frequent. We would get opportunity to work with few HBR case studies. We also have a good amount of visiting faculty and guest lectures.

Placement Experience

4

The placement process is very smooth and the job opportunities is in very diverse areas. Internship process is a compulsory part of the college curriculum. The details of the companies visiting to the campus and stipend would be available in the college placement records.

College Events

4

The college hosts plethora of events throughout the calendar starting with Outbound Learning and Art of Living, followed by management conclave and infra blaze and infra con. Then the cultural event Neev takes place which is a 3 day festival.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is a bit expensive but considering the placements and the exposure College offers can be justified. It is at par with other premium colleges in the country. Though the infrastructure requires development and it would have been better if the campus was bigger.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel has sufficient rooms for all, the official D hostel for boys is Around a km away from the hostel, the hostel has pantry but the food is mediocre. You can't go out after 10:00PM, the rooms get cleaned every 3rd day and are spacious enough

Admission

SCMHRD was one the best options I had when I embarked my journey to purse my MBA studies. The interview was of 20 mins asking genric questions regarding the places i traveled, regarding my work experience. The interview was wrapped with a small extempore in the form of a case study.

Faculty

4

The faculty of SCMHRD consist of both visiting and in house faculty. Both the sections had a good number of well experienced professors. Few faculty members had a good number of industry experiences also. The faculty is always interested in interacting with the students and getting their perspectives during the case study discussions.

Placement Experience:

The placements depend upon which Specialization you're in. If you're a marketing student there will be lots of good companies coming in for placements followed by finance and then HR. You become eligible for placement from 3rd semester. Companies such as Deloitte, PWC, TCS, HCL, etc. visit the campus for placements and offer a good amount of Packages.

We learned a lot from the curriculum and the college itself. My journey was a mixed bag of feelings with many sweet and sour moments. The classroom sessions were fun and so were the field visits and management activities like webinars or mock marketing competitions.

Remarks:

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.
