Course Curriculum Overview

By studying the curriculum so far all that I can judge is that it has a wide scope for research. The subjects cover advanced science topics. We have two internals and the main exam per year, we go for internships in the final, i.e., the second year of M.Sc.

Placement Experience

Taking up an internship program during the final year or a job is up to the decision of the student. Placements are provided here to almost everybody. Some well-known companies come here for recruitment with decent pay.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes, the fee is feasible by most of them, even if not scholarships are provided and education loans can also be availed. The fee is only Rs. 70-75k per year, the second year it's lesser by 10k as we go for internships outside.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are given out by the college to students who do well in academics for their research purpose, the amount goes up to 10 k. Students can avail education loans and pay back the loan after studying with interest.

Campus Life

Both the students and teachers take part in events like sports and cultural like dance and drama organized by the college. Sports events here happen for a period of three days. The ratio of boys and girls is almost equal.

Admission

They have their own exam for admission based on the rankings of which they send out the call letters for admissions. The process after entrance exam, if shortlisted, includes and interview, I applied for the college online itself, the exam happens by May.

Faculty

All our faculties are well-qualified staffs with great subject knowledge, they are very interactive and keep the class lively always. They are very inspirational and are of great help when it comes to paper and thesis work.

From which semester students become maximum students are placement.company name I don't know I no experience , highest package is 15LPA and average is 5 to 6LPA , then percentage of placements students is 50% to 60%percentage students are playes.

The best place to get admission

Placement Experience:

Students who completed their masters are eligible for placements. Companies include Pharma, Biotech, R&d, agri companies, food industries, we can apply there. Well from 3rd semester students can apply and visit different companies previously, haidrabad, banglore are visited by our seniors. Students get salary of 30000-40000 ,there are students selected for multiple high rated companies. 30-40% Students get placed. I want to pursue Phd from India as I am more focus in research.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 3rd semester. I am going to start the process now from june. The companies such as springCT, Josh, Omniscient, Bluepineapple,etc. come for campus placements. Some companies make offers in lot or some lpick only 2/3. Almost all students get internships. In 4th semester we have to do internship compulsory. Average package is 7lpa if its a job offer if its an internship the it is lesser.

A campus life you must live once in your life - Fergusson College

Placement Experience:

Placements in Fergusson are pretty good. Students are eligible for sitting in the placement drives from the 3rd semester, we also get Pre-placment activities and tests before the drive starts. We get companies like Axtria, Vois , bluepineapple etc on campus. The highest package is 10 - 12 lakhs and 4-6 lakhs on an average. In my batch out of the 30 people we 20 are placed so far on campus.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the GIPE are decent. This year the highest package offered was 18 lakhs per annum by Deloitte and IDFC FIRST Bank. Although the placements are not 100% but it's around 60%. Students need to work hard and score well in aptitude test and they should start the preparation from the second semester onwards so that they can easily manage their end semester exams as well as the aptitude test. The average placement package is around 8-9 lakhs. My plan is to get a corporate job and gain some experience and exposure in the corporate world and learn how the things actually work. Many companies that come to the college are looking for data analytics role. The ratio of the companies looking for consultant, risk analyst is less based on market demand and other circumstances.

By the end of sem3 itself, the postgraduates are deployed into interviews for certain internships. But if you are with good academic scores and knowledge you can even get directly placed. Every individual is given 3 chances by the college to get and crack the interview but if the student is not able to then he is guided to where to apply but mostly ICRI makes sure everyone is placed as the college proudly stays with its 100% placement tag line. As I told here there are varied background people here with different needs of roles, the highest package I have seen getting is 15L pa to the lowest of 3L pa which even depends upon the company to your broad spectrum of knowledge. To specify which companies come here for recruitment are sun pharma, Cipla, and many more there are all 20+ companies that come and hire the intellectuals. To specify about me I am planning to get a CRC post as a start for CRA in the future.

PG not given any campus you will get a job on your ability. We have to prepare for set net after MSc but there are some companies visited college like Wipro. They provide job but the salary is around 25000 per month.

I got confirmation from Jai Hind College but decided not to go because I would get a Science degree from NMIMS. The reputation of the college itself influenced my decision as well. The admission for this particular course is bit competitive as there are only 40 seats available. The admission process is a bit lengthy; first you will have to apply by filling an online/offline form. When your form will be selected on the basis of your merit then you will be called for an entrance test of 70 marks, if you were able to qualify the test then you will be called for an interview which will be of 30 marks.
