Good college for B.Arch

I completed my graduation from Thejus College of Architecture. I opted for pursuing my B.Arch here through entrance mode of admission. I learnt alot of things here. The college had a decent infrastructure and was quite good in academics or creativity stuff. The teachers were quite talented in inspiring the curious minds of students.

The college is provided affiliation by Calicut University. The College syllabus is quite good and the course is quite hectic. We always had frequent practical and written examinations by college side. The course had semesters so we had a total of 10-semester examinations.

The college had good placements. Students were also recommended to different internships opportunities at some good firms. Many students turned out to be entrepreneurs and designers. Mostly turned out to be amazing architects.

The fee was very expensive for management quota and I had less Idea of it as I enrolled with my entrance scores. My yearly fee was around 50,000 INR and the first year fee was around 65,000. The total fee for my entire course was around 2.5 lakhs.

The college sometimes organised workshops for us for different techniques and strategies which evolved and are not included in our course and we should have knowledge of. There were also guest lectures arranged for such experience to be provided to students. The College also had nice labs for the timely practice of different respects and also had a good library.

The college takes admission by both entrance and management quota or direct admission method. The fee through management quota is pretty high. I took admission through counselling based on my NATA scores. The admission process was quite easy, I went to college as informed after submitting the admission form at college, after successful verification of documents I got enrolled theirs for my B.Arch.

The faculties are good and taught us pretty well. The teachers were professional, composed of doctorate and master degree scholars who were highly knowledgeable and had vast experience in their field. They also taught us different methodologies to teach us better.
