Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is a standard MBBS syllabus, at Shridevi institute the student is required to study for four and a half years and then do internship for an entire year. We are given postings where we interact with patients.
Placement Experience
There is no placement opportunity as of now at Shridevi institute, but as far as internship is concerned we are required to do an internship compulsorily in our final year of MBBS, it is unpaid. That one year is very crucial to our career.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee per year is Rs. 8 Lakhs. But students who came in through management quota pay higher fees when compared to students who came in through the marks secured in CET and NEET. Education loans are also accepted.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers scholarships to students of lower economic backgrounds and students with good academic records, the students are required to produce the necessary documents within the required time.
Campus Life
Many events like sports day with games like football, tennis, cricket are conducted, a cultural day with dance and music and many ethnic festivals like Holi, Christmas, Diwali is celebrated in here. The gender ratio is almost equal, nobody discriminates anyone in here.
Admission
The candidate needs to clear any one of the competitive examinations for medicine which are NEET, CET or COMEDK. I got into this college through CET, I downloaded the application online, applied for the course and then got the seat in the second round of counselling.
Faculty
All the faculties here are well-trained knowledgeable professionals with many years of experience in this medical field. They motivate us in many aspects like research and other projects, they help us greatly during the internship period.
