Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good enough for securing marks. Economics is an interesting subject and I love this subject from my HS days. We also get to know many things and lessons of Indian economic system.

Placement Experience

No companies visit our college for campus interviews.Our college also does not provide any internship courses for the students. All the students get jobs after they complete their graduation and apply in private or govt sectors.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are designed good and it is not expensive. It is affordable and students never face any problem paying the admission fees. If some students find it difficult to pay admission fees then they can apply for educational loans.

Campus Life

Cultural activities like singing and dancing activities are very fun. We get a chance to show our talents in these activities. Sometimes competitions are held among inter colleges and our college students also take participation.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel infrastructure is good and well maintained. It is not so large yet comfortable to live. I share my room with my friend cum senior sister. We go out together and enjoy some time happily. Hostel life is very good.

Admission

No entrance exam is conducted for pursiung degree course in our college.I never appeared in any entrance examination.I secured 66% in my 10+2 and hence I decided to take admission in degree course here in Economics honors.

Faculty

I have a very good relationship with our college teachers. They are very encouraging and very good at explaining chapters. All our department faculties have a very good educational background and all are talented.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is suitable for the modern age of teaching,the way of education is well balanced with projects, assignments, presentations and also notes .we have reading assignments where the faculty members ask us to read an entire book and give our review on it.the exams are quiet moderate and in my opinion teachers should use more ai tools as a learning aid which will be more effective for the students

Great life from college

Placement Experience:

From the last semester pass out we a re eligible for the campus recruitment for job or placement. So many companies visit us for the interview or some checking like , hero honda , maruti suzuki etc. the main reason for it was a low amount of budget is that get from this placement maybe 15 thousand let month ect. Only the company can take the students for it so the percentage of the students who getting placement will change in every year. My plan was to get an admission in the central government University for doing master of degree in History. And try the best exam called upsc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Economic somehow teaches us how to manage in real world.. I can connect a lot more to real world while learning economics. It is a little too difficult to learn for sem exams. The sem exam is just in 50/70 marks.. The exam timing is 1 1/2 or 2 hrs.

POSITIVE POINTS INCLUDES CARRIER OF STUDENT AS THIS IS A TECHNICAL INSTITUTES IT IS BETTER THAN GENERAL DEGREE COLLEGE WHICH ONLY DISTRIBUTES CERTIFICATES. PRESENT TIME IS OF TECHNOLOGY SO TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE IS VERY NECESSARY. THIS INSTITUTES PROVIDES JOB AFTER COMPLETATION OF COURSE. IT PROVIDES HOSTEL FACILITY FOR STUDENT WHOSE HOME IS BEYOND 60KM. HOSTEL FACILITU IS VERY GOOD. THREE TIMES MEALS ARE PROVIDED ON NORMAL RATES THAT IS ?56 PER DAY.

Remarks:

I joined this college on merit. Didn't apply for any other college. I choose this college to explore a new place different from where i have been and also this course is available only in few colleges and among those colleges i liked this one. I didn't opt other colleges cause there was no much options The way i joined is through merit and for me i got a sponsor letter from my place and directly came to the college. After filling some personal information i paid 1st semester fees, and thats how i got enrolled. Eligible for 12th pass students with PCB. There is no particular entrance exam. Pros and cons of Alphonsa college, pala

The admission process was not that much of a hustle. It was easy.. It doesnt was any entrance exams.. They take students through merit list and management quota. As no. Of students in india is decreasing there is no much cut off.as they need more students. You can apply for management quota through the college website www.alphonsacollege others admit through allotement process of mg university. As i said reservation benefits are there..
