OVERWHELMING EXPERIENCE

JIMS is a great college that provides all the benefits and perks, good exposure is given to the students and students are groomed well for the future and teachers have help students in getting placed and come out to be a succesful person.

The main reason for me opting for Jims was the alumni reviews about the caring and supporting faculty. Along with the exposure that the college provided to the alumni students proved to be beneficial for them. Thus, I thought the college provides good opportunities to its students. And college being near to my place was an added advantage.

Course curriculum of JIMS is designed in a way in which the students are groomed for future job prospects. Market surveys were in routine wherein the students were made research about different building materials from time to time. Assignments were given and each student was given equal attention.

There were many companies that offered internship in Jimssome of them were Natuzzi, Yellow Star, Lapose etc.although the internships were not paid but were definitely worth it because of the experience that we got.

Students who have excelled and achieved good marks have got good opportunities and are placed in good companies. Lapose, YellowStar, Natuzzi, Ritu Singh Interiors are some of the comapnies that came for placements and provided a fine package. And there were many other comapnies that came for giving jobs to the students.

The fee structure is feasible as comapred to other colleges as other colleges have added costs of many different things.My fees was 3lakh for 3 years without any hidden charges.Almost everyone could afford this much fee easily.1 lakh for each year including all the stationary and everything.

This is not something that I know about. So i can't say anything about that. Because i never came to know about that.

The campus life was very much exhillarating and appealing. Equal ratio of boys and girls in the college.A nice clean and healthy relationship is maintained with a bit of strictness by the teachers of the college.A two day intresting sports day with all the sport activities is held in which winners get certificates and trophies.

Mess food was very tasty and tempting. It was even very hygienic and clean. It maintained good standards. There were 3 canteens initially and now there are 2.NESCAFE AND BIKANO where all the indian and chinese food along with maggi pasta is available.

YES, they have been very helpful and kind and have guided at every step whenever we needed help from them Though some have not been very responsive as well.

Exam structure was not easy, it was tough to clear the exams until you are prepared quiet well.The exams were both theoritical and practical, testing us on both parameters with fair judgement. Notes that were provided were all upto the mark. The exam structure was not so hectic but not so easy as well.

Faculty of the college has been always helping in every aspect, professionally as well as personally and have always comforted the students in the best way possible. Specialised faculties for every subject were provided. Teachers were always ready to help the students at any point of time.
