- You can really enhance yourself through the social interaction with even students of other department. This results in having good exposure to socialising.
Dislikes
- The course curriculum was so big that unnecessary subjects which doesn’t relate to your course also needs to be studied.
- Placements need to be improved a bit because as a bca student you are required to get a average package.
- You cannot roam in the college and cannot even enter the college during the lecture timing. Suppose if i have my lecture at 9:30am and you reach the college at 9:40 they will not allow you to enter the college and you have to wait till the next lect.
Course Curriculum Overview
Like i said in my previous responses that doing this course helped me a lot to tackle real life problems. Teaching methods are good but the course curriculum also includes some subjects that doesn't need to be included in the curriculum. The duration of prepatory leave within each papers are good
Internships Opportunities
There are almost 3 projects given which helps you in building good knowledge of the programming languages. They provided 3-4 types of internship out of which i did a summer training internship programme with aws cloud and ms azure.
Placement Experience
In graduation after the 4th semester you become eligible for the placements. By the end of 4th semester companies starts to visit the college for placements. Most of the students did not want the placements in our batch and opted for mca so the remaining students either took the placement successfully or did their own business.
Fees and Financial Aid
For bca it was in between 65000-70000rs for each semester. so in total for a year it was 130000 for 2 semesters and the total course fees was around 400000. There are scholarships or financial aids available for student as of now I don't know about it
Campus Life
There are always a technical fest which is called sonic in which employees from a well known company comes to a desired venue to deliver their lectures on the upcoming technologies and better opportunities. There are sports meet conducting every year and most of the students participates. There are many social clubs and they organise too many events.
Admission
As i was a newbie, I wasn't aware of the best colleges out there and didn't have any career counselling but choosing this college resulted me in a better person as a qualified student with some good knowledge in programming. The admission process is you have to clear a entrance exam and on the basis of result you have to give a interview and there will be a mail regarding if you are eligible for the admission or not on the basis of results.
Faculty
The faculties to student relationships are too good and the faculties are more than welcome to help You throughout your doubts. You can easily approach the teachers. I have interacted with teachers from not only department but others department as well. The exams are a bit difficult but i feel they make you try hard and you learn to adapt things .
Night Life
The canteens offers good quality food to the students ranging in a average price. The library is good and includes most the books related to your curriculum. Outside the college there are so many places cafeterias and restaurants where you can hangout with your friends.
