Overall its a nice college. Only few colleges arethere in India toprovide agricultural engineering. Keeping in mind short availability of such colleges College of Agricultural Engineering & Post Harvest can be a nice place to land.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college has a course structure designed by retired professors who have gathered very rich experience throughout their lives. Syllabus is divided into levels to make it more adaptable. Course contents keep updating with time.
Placement Experience
The college has established a Trainings-cum-Placement and Career Development Centre which provides counseling, coaching, trainings, guiding in career development and placement of college students. The cell also invites professional experts, consultants and corporate professionals to coach, guide and counsel the students and enhance their personality development.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college offers 2 streams in B. Tech. One is in agricultural engineering and second stream is of food technology. Students can take admission in any of these two streams. Total fees for each stream is not more than 15000 Rs. Hence fees seems feasible.
Campus Life
Various extension education activities are offered to students. Some of them are - Field days/Krishi Yantra Mela Vocational Training Supply of planting materials, Farm trials equipment etc. Dissemination through video film Skill development & entrepreneurial promotion Participation in State/Regional/National Agri-Fair Organizing farmers visits.
Admission
Students are nominated on the basis of the merit list prepared according to the performance of students in common entrance test - AIET. Then nominees are governed by the eligibility as prescribed by ICAR and are selected by ICAR based on the performance of candidates in All India Entrance Test (AIET) conducted by ICAR. Eligibility criteria can be checked on college's official website.
Faculty
Faculty delivers lectures and takes classes regularly. All of them have abundant knowledge and experience. Apart from sharing couse related information, college faculty organizes regular coaching lectures to help students in preparation of competitive examinations.
