Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite simple. The post graduate course is of two years. Other courses offered in this college are B.Tech and PH.D. All the courses are semester based and have practicals, internal and external examination.

Placement Experience

The placements in this college are improving day by day. The college and management are trying hard to invite best companies to this college for placement. The college has even formed a separate placement cell which takes care of all the placement activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of this college is very feasible and not at all expensive. Students interested in taking admissions in this college can easily pay their fees. The approximate fees of this college is about 5000 - 6000 per yer which is very less.

Campus Life

The labs are well equipped with all the apparatus and practical stuff. Students can easily practice in the labs. There are extra curricular activities conducted in this college which are organised by this students,

The admissions in this college are provided based on the merit list generated by this college. The entrance exam is conducted in this college and then based on those marks admissions are provided to the students in this college.

The course curriculum will give you a comprehensive understanding of Contemporary IR theories, India's Foreign Policy, polilical theory, Hydrodiplmacy, Poltical Economy, Research Methodology and so on. You will also have to do your dissertation in the last semster that is the 4th semster and defend it to get your Masters Degree.

Placement Experience:

I do not have much idea about this field. If I'm not wrong internships begin from 2nd to 3rd year itself, and placements from 4th year. The avergae package here is around 6 LPA, and the highest package offered is 56 LPA. That'll be all from side.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If i have to talk about the curriculum then, overall its good. It covers all the aspect starting from very basics to the most advanced ones for both theory and practical. This course including the teachers prepares us (students) very well to face the real world applications or further academic pursuits. They emphasise more on practical based teaching then theory. If i have to give an example then its 3:7 ratio for a topic. Where 3 theory sessions and 7 practical sessions.

Modern and friendly college

Remarks:

I love my college, though I hate the place majhitar because of its hot weather. Obviously there are a lot of areas where the college can improve, but the faculties are great. The college doesn't always provide you various extra curricular activities, and to organise anything is a headache. But it is a fun college.

Remarks:

I was working and studying at the same time. I wanted to fund my own education. So I wanted to go for Distance Education so that I will be able to manage both. Sikkim Manipal University is the most reputed institution when it comes to getting degree for distance learning.
