A journey through lifelong memories

College management always gives good support to all the positive proposals made by the students in academic, technical and extra curricular affairs.

I took the kerala engineering entrance and got 25, 169th rank also got 15117th rank in cusat engineering exam. Engineering was a dream for me and that's why opted it. And after my btech, I also qualified ccie routing and switching.

Companies like Tcs, qburst came into our college but as I had back papers at that time, I failed to attend. Tcs and qburst conducted an aptitude test as the primary level. Those who passed the aptitude were directed to the direct interview session. Tcs conducted different levels of interviews like primary level, HR level, technical interview. Qburst conducted only a single level interview. Many other companies were came there at the end of our final semester but we were busy with our projects and seminars and we didn't attend those interviews. Many of our juniors attended them. Attending these interviews gave us a lot of experiences.

Companies like Tcs and qburst came into our college. About 20 pupil got placed in and a fewer ones placed in qburst. I don't know about the tcs package but qburst offered 3.12/annum.

College techfestivals like Mestech, Sparsh, Mesmerize, Excellencia, stupa, sports festival and lots of other festivals were conducted there. Mestech is the college's main technical festival collectively organized and conducted by all the departments together. Stupa was conducted by all the departments except mechanical and Barch. Excellencia was conducted by MCA department. Mesmerize is conducted by the MBA department. Annual sports meet is conducted by the college management itself. Also we were participating in the zonal and university level sports and arts meets.

Different fee structures were available for Merit admission, management admission and NRI admission. 35-65k was the fee for Merit admission, 1 lakh for management admissions and 1.45 lakh for NRI admissions.

Yes, there were scholarships offered by Muslim educational society, Memo and so many others. Always most of the students applied for the scholarships and around 93% of them got the scholarships. Also the college management were giving free laptops for the students from backward communities. Those students who got Engineering entrance rank under 1000 were given full course fee as scholarship. Those who ranked under 5000-2000 were had to give only 1000-2000 as course fee per year.

Campus life was amazing. There were no gender desceimination in our campus, not a single incident reported about it. There were separate hostel parties conducted for girls and boys every year and it was a grand function with an amazing food fest. Lots of workshops were being conducted by different departments like electronics and communication, compute science engineering, applied electronics and communication, electrical and electronics engineering, Mechanic engineering, civil engineering, BArch and by Nss, IEEE, IEST and so on.

Hostel facilities are good and our hostel is kerala's biggest hostel. Quality food is served in the mess.

Seniors were our good friends. They gave us guidelines in whatever things we needed. There were no ragging and such malpractices entertained by our college. College is very strict against such malpractices and there functions a very good wing for monitoring such incidents. Also a retired DYSP of Kerala police is appointed as the vigilance officer for investigating if any incidents occurred and for taking proper action against it. Seniors were supportive in all educational, technical, cultural activities conducted in our college. They were our backbone and we are still keeping a very good relationship with them.

Exams here not much hectic. They were conducted in a well ordered manner, manageable by the students.

They were good. Good quality teaching and we were provided by most equipped labs available in Kerala. All of our professors were completed Mtech and many of them owned Phd(doctorate). They were really influenced us a lot and give us great explosure to the newest technologies and methodologies by utilising the highly equipped labs and latest digital tools.
