Remarks

Overall it was a good experience in the college and whatever i an today is due to the lessons learnt over there.

Entrance Preview

Admitted through PUC Marks. I was having 84% marks based on which i got the ranking and i selected this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was good. Some subjects were very vast and need a clear understanding to clear the exam but not tough.It was a nice experience that i will cherish in my life forever.

Internships Opportunities

College internship was good. We had industrial tour to Bangalore to visit the IT companies and it was a nice experience that i will cherish in my life forever.

Placement Experience

Placement was okay. As the college is around 50km outside the city the companies use to come to colleges in nagpur and we have to travel down to attend the interviews.

College Events

Technodeon and yearly feast are the two events that every KITians are aware of and It was a nice experience that i will cherish in my life forever. The dance programs and all other events were good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is good and there are enough time to pay the fees also with EMI's.

Campus Life

Campus life is excellent with the college in between the natural beauty of ramtek. The climate is good. Summer is pretty hot but other than this it was good campus exp. with interactive friends.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility was good with okay food quality.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is there through Facebook and one page on college website.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is good and there are enough gaps between the exams. overall its good structure.

Faculty

Faculty were excellent in terms of giving the internals and also very supportive in clearing the doubts. Overall a nice one.It was a nice experience that i will cherish in my life forever.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. College is too bad. There is nothing apart from studying and attending regular classes. College does not help in the transportation of students or staff coming from Nagpur. They do not help students who goes for pool drive in Nagpur. Time to enter college is last 9 pm and after that, they do not allow students to enter.
