Awesome college

AIEEE in 2005. I had scored around 92 marks in that exam. Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College was one of the best college in Marathwada Region of Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University. Admission was based on the AIEEE score for OMS (Outside Maharashtra State) student.

Videocon, Man Diesel, Siemens etc. No stipend offered for Internship. During that period the Indian market was not good. Our college had organized some industry visit in Videocon, Indo German Tool Room etc.

Approximately 30 % of students were placed in small & big companies. Most of the students were did not get any chance to get selected in any of this companies.

Our college had organized lots of national level event like AWUT, Chankya etc. I was the organizer in both of these events. A lots of the student from all over the country has participated in these cultural & technical events.

Fee structure was a little bit expensive as we have to pay approx. Rs. 49000 for each semester. In first year the fee increases from Rs. 26000 to Rs. 32000. In 2nd year fee further increased to Rs. 38000 and so on reached to Rs. 49000/.

Loan facility was available and I had availed the loan for last 3 years. There was one of our senior who got a good scholarship from our college, as he was one of the topper in his class.

Campus life was really awesome. There was a lots of sports complex for Cricket, Football, Basket ball, Volley ball, Table Tennis, GYM etc. Our college had organized evening debates/group discussion for students.

I had never shared any college hostel rooms as the 2 BHK flats were a little bit less expensive then the college hostel. We are 3 students who shared the flats and it cost around Rs. 800 for each.

Exam structure was really very difficult to score. Approx there are six subjects to face for every semester. In 1st year (2005-2006) students who were passed in all 12 subjects are 19 & half percent. I was one of them who had cleared all subjects in one go.

Faculty of JNEC college was really having great experience and they were perfect in their relevant subjects. Our Mechanical faculty had won consecutive two times for the best faculty of this college. Our Workshop was having many Lathe Machines, Welding Machines, & Forging Machines which was very useful for me to make my basic information.
