Remarks

I would say that SRM has got its own prestige platform on its own. Right from the academic point of view, I would say that this is a place to explore and the right path for anyone who prefers to choose B.Tech in any department. Weak point could be the number of students in this campus are limited. And that adds to another positive point of having preferably a good student to teacher interaction. I opted for this college mainly because of it being inside the city.

Course Curriculum Overview

There is a huge opportunity to learn about all the departments this is because we have a common course in the initial semesters. And as the semesters expand the branches expand accordingly. The electives are a good field as we see them as a huge learning platform. My program is a booming field of communication. One good aspect of this college is the student-teacher ratio. Every student is given that attention and there is a wide interaction session.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are compulsory in college life. This helps us to gain knowledge in the outside real world. Projects and outcomes during the internship training and in college life is one important aspect that is looked into and that is always been monitored.

Placement Experience

The most appreciated part of the college is its training. Happens right from the 3rd year. With all attention on how to face interviews and aptitude levels. We have all kinds of companies coming in for placements. Entrepreneurship and startups are another aspects that is entertained by the college in full efforts. We have seminars, talks and discussions happening around the corner.

Campus Life

As I mentioned, this is a diverse space with different languages and culture. We have festivities happening in college every now and then. We have department symposium, college cultural, National festivals are also celebrated here. Our library is a huge One with more than 20k books. Classrooms are very comfortable and clean. There are huge classrooms for all departments. We have many social groups for photography, cultural, technical and many streams accordingly.

Interview Experience

There was initially an interview with 3/4 panel members and last step was a personal interview. Best tip would be to stay confident and be straight forward. My topic was based on my school performance and the reason why I opted this course and college.

Placement Experience:

B.tech students will be eligible after they complete their credits before the 3rd year and usually that is the period during which they will be eligible for placements. For integrated M.tech it might be after the 4th year in 5th year,they could get a year for internships which is good for students. This might be considered as my interest in this course.The placement is around 95 percent.My plans after getting the degree is to become a highly skilled person and to get a job in google. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, etc place our campus.There are no such companies that visited and made no offers.

A review about KARE

Placement Experience:

In my college placement start from 7th semester, students get eligible to sit in drives. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some core firms visited and gave good no of offers. Highest package was around 10 LPA and average near 4.5 LPA depending on profile, mostly software dev, testing and few core engineer role. Around 70% students got placed last year, rest go for higher studies or other prep. My plan after finishing degree is to first try campus offer then aim for higher studies if I not satisfied. Overall placement is decent but still more core companies should come.

I applied to many college and got selected too from their entrance exam but since i had no idea about counselling form and got wrong guidance from my professor that's why i was got selected in any of the college, i got good score in MHT CET, COMEDK, AIEEE, VIT and in all due to lack of proper guidance i got the seat but in that field which i don't want.
