Course Curriculum Overview
Ba economics hons is a graduation course which has the duration of 3 years. It has semester system and the syllabus is very organized and is updated regularly. The days are generally chilled. However, the exams are a little tiring.
Placement Experience
The college has various internship and job opportunities to the students. There aim is to enhance the skills of the students and make them future ready. Various companies like wipro, HCL etc come and recruit the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of the college is around 80 thousand which is quiet feasible as per the needs and demand of the course in the growing industry. Hence, it will not be wrong to say that the fees is affordable as per the education and facilities provided by the institution.
Campus Life
The college has created ample sports facilities for its students mainly with the help of the Department of Physical Education. Apart from organizing the Annual Sports Meet the college on a regular basis sends outstanding performers to participate in different Inter-collegiate and District Sports competitions. They also organize various cultural functions.
Hostel Facilities
For students coming from far off places, there are three well furnished Girls’ Hostels with an accommodation of over 370 students. Priority in accommodation is given to the students with physical disability and those studying Honours courses. Seats are allotted subject-wise depending on availability. Half and full free boardership has also been introduced for the needy students staying at college hostels.
Admission
Maharajadhiraj Uday Chand Women's College, known as M. U. C. Women's College, established in 1955, is a women's college in Bardhaman. It offers undergraduate courses in arts and science and PG course in English. It was at first affiliated to Calcutta University. To get admission in this college, the student will have to fill the form and appear for the entrance exam and based on their merit in the exam they will be selected. Meritorious students having good percentage in class 12 can avail direct admissions too.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is appointed with the focus in quality education of students. They are well qualified and trained with a great experience. They have good command over their respective subjects. They also encourage students in every possible way and help them when they need.
