Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum for MBBS is in line with the national defined framework. Practical and theoretical knowledge both are given due importance. Internal Exams are held regularly with annual final exams at the end of the year. Practicals are held from time to time.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement rate of college is quiet good. Many of my seniors got placed with reputed hospitals in the town. The college itself has an hospital and one can get Internship as well as placements there. Internship facilities are also available outside for the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is expensive as you can expect from a private medical college. I paid around 3 lakhs for the 1st year. The fee is almost the same for all the years. You need to spend around 15 lakhs for the 5 years duration of the course.

Fees and Financial Aid

Education loan facility is available for students. One can easily get loans sanctioned by private or public sector banks. I took loan from Karnataka Bank for the purpose of my education. Apart from that I also applied for scholarships under the National Scholarship scheme.

Campus Life

4.5

The college has a nearby playground for sports and other related activities. Library is stocked with latest medical journals, books and magazines. Clinical labs are high on standards and quality. The infrastructure is quite good and up to date.

Admission

Admission to the college are based on entrance exam. Those qualifying the NEET exam can take admissions through counseling. I got decent score in NEET exam and applied for the 85% state quota seats. Got the seat in 3rd round.

Faculty

4

Faculty of our college is amongst the best. We are taught by professors who are specialist in their domain. Further they are quite helpful. They are always ready to answer to our queries even after the lectures are over.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is solely concentrated on making you a better doctor. The competency based medical curriculum along with clinical exposure has succeeded in creating the doctors of the next age. Almost every single piece of info that is taught has some kind of real world application. The exams are spaced about 3-4 months apart and gives adequate time for preparation. There is also end of posting exams in clinics like surgery.

Remarks:

The college management is really unhelpful in almost all cases. They do not pay the interns, even though government colleges pay the interns a lot of money, the money saved goes to their pockets. They charge parking fees for their own students. No sports facilities. But the teachers are really helpful and the you are exposed to a lot of patients in the hospitals.
