Remarks

Apart from the high fee nothing is negative about the college. The fee is also not very high because we get much exposure in our college days. The staff, faculty and also other things are very good and very impressive.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course and syllabus in college are not boring. The course is very interesting mainly the practicals are very enjoyable. All the teachers give us creative projects which look very fun to do. All the practicals leave us very excited and happy.

Placement Experience

4.5

Although the internships procedures of our college are not so fun, the presence of our college in India's fashion is a big hit. Recently, our college represented itself in the Lakme Fashion week. The event was a big hit and our students got good limelight.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for the course which I am pursuing is quite high according to the other fashion colleges. The first year fee for the students is around 1.25 lac. The overall fee is around 3.75 lac which is quite high honestly but the result which you get after the completion of course is worth it!

Campus Life

5

Avant-Garde and Advance draping Fashion Show, INIFD Lakme Launchpad Week 2019, Kalamkari and Block printing workshop etc were some of the events which happened in the last year of my course. All the competitions and events were very enjoyable.

Admission

First, I applied for the course through the official website of the college then I had my name in the merit list. I went to the college for the interview and document verification finally, got admission. The process was very easy.

Faculty

All the teachers of ours are very good. The teachers have experiences of up to 10 years! The teachers provide us personal feedbacks and also the personal opinions of the teachers give us confidence. All the teachers are well educated and polite.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a 5 year course with a dedicated foundation year which was a driving factor in chosing this course. The curriculum requires us to actually go in the city and explore different types of manufacturers and makers which taught us a lot about how the real world works. The only improvement i would suggest is having more group activities. There are 2 major submissions in midsem and endsem and they aren't difficult at all if you have completed all your work.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Nid follows a old style curriculum which has its own pros and cons. Here we prefer sticking to the basics in the beginning we believe in building our base rather than rushing. We imply more of practical knowledge rather than theoretical basically we experiment live with our ideas a lot and we are allowed to explore anything that we are interested in
