Remarks

The management is much students friendly. And also takes care of the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The education imparted is mostly practical based. We get to apply what we have learnt in fields and industrial visit are also done. The curriculum is helpful to crack many competitive exams such as opsc upsc. And being Practical based these curriculum provide a great knowledge to students.

Placement Experience

3

In the college we have many workshops and internship at the last year. One is sent to village to understand and study about the lifestyle of villagers and the crops grown. And the students are Directly governed by AAO (Assistant Agricultural Officer).

College Events

5

Their are many functions which are celebrated thouroughout the the year. We have 3 societies - Shaurya(athletic society). Anubhuti ( literary society). And Chirantani (dramatic society). The respective events from each societies are celebrated. And all festival like Ganesh Puja, Saraswati puja all are celebrated here.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure is much feasible. As the University is directly governed by the Govt. Of Odisha. And hence the fees are much low as compared to other Agricultural universities. One middle class family can easily afford their children to get education here.

Fees and Financial Aid

It is very easily available. Many scholarship are given by the University itself. And being a government institution one can easily access educational loan if one wants to avail.

Campus Life

4

The gender ratio of boys : girls is almost 1:2. The girls actively take admission in this college. Indeed all religions are entertained. Everyone is equally respected by each other in the campus and outside the campus. Many debates program and seminars are also held in the campus.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel are bit old fashion as the University was established back in 1962. So the hostel rooms are large and one have to share it with 2 seniors. For college of Agriculture we have a separate hostel (Hostel-2 Godabarisha Hostel). Though the govt. Of Odisha started reNo,vating the hostel and college.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are the best thing of the college. Every senior treat the junior as Brothers or sisters. They are much helpfull in all aspects.

Admission

Much more opportunities in future. As agriculture is base of any civilization. And enhancing it may lead us to much more development. Also in my country India the backbone of ecoNo,my is Agriculture. And also many government jobs are related to agriculture are also their hence, it is better than engineering.

Faculty

4.5

All the Lecturers are well educated and have done PHD in the respective fields. And the lecturers have a great experience in teaching. Also the sirs and madams are very much friendly. Indeed one can easily acess them. And they are much helpful in every aspects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As India is a agricultural country most people depends on agriculture so I choose this course that I think it might have more scope. Through this course, we covered both theory and practice; we planted crops, prepared the field, applied manure to the soil, and irrigated the field. The difficulty is not too hard, and there are about 4 exams in a year, which is very good. In this course we must visit the village and interact with village people know their problems and try to find solutions. In our college we are less interactive with village farmers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Agriculture course is highly vast and informative. This course actually provides economic knowledge about the food we consume in our daily life and also provides the information about how they are grown and taken care of by our hardworking farmers. And talking about the difficulty level it's actually easy and we just have to get involved in this course as much as we can. Improvement this course requires is to give proper guidance to our farmers and also to provide them with proper wages they deserve.
