Remarks

It is a good college overall with good teachers and students with friendly and supporting nature. It also have good placement and other activities. But it could have been better if it included new research and more involvement of gaining extra knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course curriculum is latest as per state education system but I think it lacking few modern requirements. Exams are divided into semesters with two end semester and two mid semester in a year. We have total of 3 years with 6 end semester examination. Research are booked on to the last year so I don't know how good or bad it will be. But I wished it would have been better if research were conducted along with the studies. But alas. Haha

Placement Experience

4

The college has good placement record. I don't know much about the internship and stipend cause I'm a first year student. All I have heard about tcs, wipro etc companies in the placement. They have to pass the examination for the placement or internship by paying small fee and then if competition is tough there are several rounds finalizing with interview and welcome abroad to the work place.

College Events

3

Every festival is celebrated in the college with full support of seniors, juniors and staffs of the college. Most anticipated events are annual day celebration which joins various streams of studies together and is a lot of fun. Small and large seminars are regularly conducted in the auditorium of the college and is highly recommended.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible and affordable to everyone with no age bounds. Even the poorest person with no money can study here thourough scholarship provided by the government in the college. The fee structure includes laboratory fees, sports fees, identity fees, library fees etc etc

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship available thourough college is the one provided by the state government which covers the annual fees of the student but is not helpful for other expenses coming in the studies and living in the college.

Campus Life

2.5

There are annual sports, drama, singing and dancing and many more extra curricular activities going on all around the year plus farewell and freshers parties also adds to the fun and activities. I don't find them much amusing because it should also be inter-college competition and cultural interchange.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are helpful and energetic. They are always there for the juniors and their well advancement into the college. There is also a student Union which acts as a link to the council of the college to the students.

Admission

I knew few people graduated from this college who prefers it would be good and worthy if I study there so i went to the college and got myself registered for the entrance test by filling up the admission form and selecting my desired course from the list of several courses available there. I have interests in computer so i took up Information technology as my selection because I found it more convincing according to my interest and career opportunities. After I wrote the entrance exam got selected in the 1st list and got myself enrolled signing in the bond and filling the fees with the documents required. It was simple and then I joined the classes.

Faculty

3.5

The teachers and faculty members are highly qualified and have tremendous experience but I think non updation with latest trends which is basically council's fault makes the students less interested in it. The student to teacher ratio is high so we are in need of more daily staff teachers and larger rooms with divided sections.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually biotechnology is an interdisciplinary program where we have to learn mostly the practical skills but there is no such equipment for doing a decent type of research work as they are not in a working condition. So first it has to be corrected and new equipment should have to buy for a making a good laboratory.

Students are eligible for placement in the final year of their course and most vocational courses have the opportunity to have. The highest package would be 5lpa and the minimum would be 2 lpa. There is a 50-50 chance to get the placement. I want to pursue a higher degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am chosen this course because mathematics is my strongest subject from all of the others that's why I can choose mathematics. Faculty member of our college is very supportive but some of the teachers are very rude behaviour. Our college teachers are very disciplined about teaching and any project work. My class have 250 students. Every semester our college takes mid sem exam then a viva exam, assignment on every paper, group discussion, surprise test. The exam pattern was based on their classes. The exam pattern is moderate most times.
