St. Columbas college Is the best in my city

I am a student of st. Columbas college hazaribagh. I choose this college because this college is the best graduate level colleges in my city. I applied for two colleges first was annada college and the second one was st. Columbas. Our college also provides a quota for admission. I belong to OBC (non creamy layer). So I m also availed my quota for admission. St. Columba's college admission process - Fill up the online admission form which was operated by the college itself. -Then a merit based list will generate based on 12th class marks -Then college conduct counselling with merit-based and then you can take admission if you can pay the fee.

I am chosen this course because mathematics is my strongest subject from all of the others that's why I can choose mathematics. Faculty member of our college is very supportive but some of the teachers are very rude behaviour. Our college teachers are very disciplined about teaching and any project work. My class have 250 students. Every semester our college takes mid sem exam then a viva exam, assignment on every paper, group discussion, surprise test. The exam pattern was based on their classes. The exam pattern is moderate most times.

There is no any fees hike policy in my college. Under 2k any student can take admission in my college. Professional courses have a different fee from normal courses. Professional courses fees approx 20k per semester. Our college also give scholarship which provided by Jharkhand government. Ekalyan scholarship is the portal. Our college didn't provide any campus job or any other job facility on the college campus.

There are many annual fests which were organised by our college such as sarhul puja, college annual fest on every year, Saraswati fest etc. mostly every book which is useful for students are available in the library but some of them are the very old version of the book. The new pattern is not available. In my college most sports are played such as cricket, volleyball, badminton, kabaddi, wrestling, NCC. Many students participate from my college in district-level sports. Some groups are active in our college such as ABVP, NSS.

Hostel facility is moderate. There is an average room with we can share with three student per room. Room has one door one window one ceiling fan. Meal quality is not good here. All the registration process of hostel is included on admission form and on the counseling. Most of the boys loves rented room or PG which was near in college.
