An Overview about PSG

College provides all facilities. They should give more importance to Opportunities outside the college.

In PSG, course curriculums fully prepared by Anna University. Nowdays they implementing in new methods of learning. Even though college management also encouraging students to learn with real time applications. College Management funding some good ideas and innovations.Lots of researches were done by students. Also they give some classes to develop professional skills of the student. It makes the student's industry ready.

Placement are extremely good. Mostly PSG students get placed in the average package of 4 to 6 Lpa. PSG last 3 years maintaining placement percentage above 85%. Most of the reputed companies like Caterpillar, Bajaj, L&T, KPMG, Pwc, Daimler, Asian Paints,Renault Nissan, Goldman Sachs etc. Are visiting regularly to our campus.

Yukta National level Symposium, Industry Academia Conclave, Advaya, Campus to Corporate program, E-yantra expo, iTech dialogues these are the few events that are conducted national level. Students from various parts of the India participated and win the prizes.

Compared to other colleges PSG fees are very less. it depends on the way you get your admission. If you come via TNEA counseling the fee is possibly less around 60000 per year. But of you come via Entrance examinations fee will be around 1 lakhs. And TNEA counseling is the best way to get admission because students can get scholarships from government and college management.

College give scholarships for all students. Also Those students from schedule castes can get extra scholarships. Financially backward student can get some scholarship from Alumni associations also.

In PSG, Boys is more than girls. It is located outside of the city. So you can't get any fun like going movies or park. But in other hand college have lots of clubs like NSS, NCC, Eco club etc. Student can develop management skills. In Sports basketball, Cricket, Hand ball etc. Available. Sports day conducted annually students can participate to represent their houses inside the college.

Hostels are pretty good. But Here no any individual rooms available. Students can share room. For 4 students one room. Food facilities is good. Non Veg available Weekly 3 days Non veg available. Other facilities like gym also available students can avail the facilities at free of cost

In our college we have alumni association. Annually alumni meet held in the month of February. Student can interact with the seniors and get to know about their industry experience.

In PSG there is two way to get admission. One is TNEA counseling it is fully based on your 12 the marks. another one is Entrance test.In Entrance test there will be few seats only available. The test is easy but the competition is very high. You have to score at least 185+ cut off in your +2 Public examination.Then only you will get a call for writing entrance examinations. Here only 5 departments available. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Ece, EEE and Civil engineering. For entrance examination you have to apply after the result announcement.

In PSG professor's are basically qualified from well reputed institutes. Also some faculties are from industry background. Faculties are very friendly and kind they always guide the student in best way. They also give their project to the student it will be very helpful to learn new things.
