Remarks

The university is a renowned Central University basically known for good quality education and many courses that it offers. There are no bad remarks as such. The only one being that the city is not so well developed so the students may face some problems but the university is upto the mark.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is a centrally funded University and the curriculum is followed that of UGC which is the same for all the central universities across the country. There are various departments with specialised teachers and courses according to the needs. However there are not many courses relating to technology.

Placement Experience

Placement are mostly from the field of Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Psychology and Law. Other departments do offers great scope for placements. Since I've not been to any of the interview I'm not the right person to provide with accurate knowledge. Internships are also provided in Various fields.

College Events

Culture events are organised every now and then. From literature to theatre and fine arts. Also there are many extra curricular activities which add to your skills. Events such as Mind Mystery in Psychology department and Akshar kulam in English Department are some of events organised every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is as specified by the UGC and is usually very low and reasonable. As for Humanities. The fees is about 2100 for a semester for General category and 1000 and 50 for OBC and SC/ST respectively. Scholarship is also provided onto different criteria like Marks and Rural residents

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarship scheme provide in different fields like for students who got more than 9 CGPA in 10-12 and for Minorities and those belonging to the Scheduled.

Campus Life

Gender disparity is not noticed usually however in some courses the ratio of boys is usually higher then of girls but that in in minor cases. Extracurricular activities like Music festival and Sports festival etc are organised almost every year. There are many High-tech labs in the premises, from Biotechnology to Physics and even Forensic Science Laboratory which is the only one in the state is also in the university premises.

Alumni/Alumna

There is not vast network of alumni but they are very helpful if you are in touch with them. However alumni help in organising various festivals in the campus.

Admission

Admission is given on the basis of CET or Common Entrance Test conducted each year in May or June for Various courses like Pharmacy, Science, Mathematics, Humanities, Law etc. It is a central University surrounded by lust Greenery from all the sides.

Faculty

Most teachers are doctorate in their specialised field and have deep understanding and knowledge about the subject. The only drawback being that the students will have to work towards understanding the subject and to go to teaching asking for their help. However this helps in developing a deeper understanding.
