Remarks

Overall good. The system is very organised. The student portal is easy to access and convenient to use for everyone

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is constantly being updated and improved by the tied up research institutes as well as the industry. The companies coming for placements mention the requirements in special courses and alter the curriculum according to that. There are industrial visits organised by the college for every subject

Placement Experience

The placements of vit are excellent. People get amazing offers even for internships. They conduct a placement and training practise for students from the beginning of the third year.

Every semester has one big event. Fall semester has gravitas - a technical event and winter semester has riviera- a non technical event. The participation is huge, singers and performers who come are very famous. College all over India are invited to come

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible if you get in thourough the first two categories. It’s all rank based. The first category is 12-13 lakhs peen annum and it keeps on increasing. No additional fees, only advance amount has to be paid. Yes the college provides transparency in than process

Nope, I haven’t opted for any such thing There is a star student scheme for Children living in Tamil Nadu. They get green education

Male to female ratio is almost 7:3. The university is open and friendly to all people, United in diversity. There isn’t any discrimination. Although, NRI’s get preference for room allotment. The rules are stricter for girls however. Girls have an earlier in time for the hostel and aren’t allowed to wear shorts or spaghettis

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are very good. The washourooms are clean, the rooms are spacious and comfortable to stay in. There is good ventilation in most of the hostel blocks. PG’s are not allowed for girl students unless parents aren’t staying outside with them

Yes, they are helpful. Most of them sell books to juniors, help out with projects and assignments. They also recommend teachers ans subjects

Admission

I opted for this course because computer science is one of the most important topics to study in today’s world of technology. VIT seemed like the best option because it is the best private institution in India. I applied online when the application forms were out and wrote the entrance examination.

The faculty are good. Some of them are extremely knowledgeable and know how’s to teach well. It’s easy to understand the subject because of them. Some of them on the other hand are just knowledgeable and don’t know how to express and passbook on the knowledge to students

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

My insights on Vit Chennai

I applied for very less college.since my cut off was low the possibility of me getting any Anna university affiliated colleges were less. So i wrote entrance exam for Amrita University and Vit. I did get Amrita but felt Vit had better exposure. They were lot of reasons as to why I chose this college. Of most the colleges I searched this had mechanical with specialisation courses. Doing a minor in something will make me a step ahead of every other mechanical engineer. I also compared the curriculum with many institutions,this was far by the best with perfect exposure. They have variety of other non graded courses to help me focus on my hobbies and interest. Their tie ups with many foreign institutions and industries will be an advantage for me if I use it in the right way. Again the only way of getting into Vit is through their entrance exam VITEEE. Since my cut off was low I had to rely on these entrance exams. I did applied for some colleges other than this like sairam institute of technology and after i got accepted to vit I went here and abondoned the application.
