Remarks

The college management is great the only issue which everyone face is the strict attendance requirements.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes the course is research driven and fair the curriculum is very carefully curated for giving industry specific knowledge. Subjects like technical communication and evs helps in the grooming of every individual, a foreign business language is also compulsory for every student which increases the candidates value during placements.

Placement Experience

The placements are really good for branches like cse and ec for the rest branches it's satisfactory.

College Events

Amity youth fest, Hackathons, Various seminars and cultural events are also celebrated. All of the events are held on quite large scales and get a lot of response and participation from students. Every year many bollywood celebrities also visit the campus for promotions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is in between of feasible and expensive the fees can be payed by dd or online, their is no additional fees for any course other than the fixed fees for every course. The fee - breakdown is completely transparent with 30% increase in every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I didn't opted for any scholarship. Although the university provides scholarship to top 5% of students in every class.

Campus Life

The campus life is very exuberant with a lot of gender diversity. And the campus is very healthy and ragging free. There are a lot of extracurricular activities happening every week including sports, competition, seminars, debates, musical and dance performances.

Alumni/Alumna

There is a very big alumni network and the senior students are really helpful as they keep on sharing their experiences.

Admission

I applied online and then was asked to come to the campus for entrance exam, so I gave the entrance exam and was selected. I opted for cse as I had interest in this subject since childhood. I chose Amity because it was close to my residence and had a great reputation.

Faculty

The faculty are highly experienced and qualified professionals of average age around 40. Everyday we have 6-7 lectures of 1 hour each Excepting some of the teachers others had relevant industry experience and certifications. They try their best to share their knowledge and experience with the students.

I want to become software engineer so that is why i choose B.Tech cse course. And the curriculum is good fit for real world application or further academic pursuits. They majorly focus on practical either than theory knowledge nearly exam occur in every 1 to 2 months and paper difficulty level is average not as much hard and not easy

A good choice for quality education and career growth

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from the 6th and 7th semsester the college has a dedicated placement cell that organise training sessions resume building workshops mock interviews and aptitude class to prepare students for placement Many companies visit the campus every year , including IT and sevice based comapnies . The most common roles offered are software developer technical support, data analytical and trainee enginer. The avaerage package can go upto 7 lakh while the highest package can go upto 52 lakhs . Around 70-80% of students get placed through campus drives while other opt for higher studies , internships or off campus job . The placement process is smooth and well organised bh the college. After completing my degree , i plan to either secure a good job through campus placement or improve my skills for better off campus placement.

KMCLU Lucknow : Experience of Campus and Academics

Placement Experience:

My college has an average placement of 6LPA. Placement eligibility starts from the end of 5th semester, but when I got promoted to 5th semester, placements declined due the the restructuring in placement cell. So our batch missed the opportunity to attend any placements. In year 2022, the highest placement was around 22LPA and in year 2023, it declined to 9 LPA as there was restructuring in team. After getting my degree I will look for carrier opprotunities on my own, as I have not experienced any placement in my college years.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for placements some of the companies which visit are amazon, atlassian, google,etc. According to me the highest package is 53 lpa and the average package is 5 lpa. If you had a great skilled then you can get the placement. I don't know the percentage of student getting placements.

AMITY UNIVERSITY - GUIDE 101 FOR B.TECH

I applied to SRM chennai and got the admission letter. but i had to choose AMITY because of lack of hostel accommodation in SRM for female students. When i got there they told me they had 0 rooms for so many students. I did not get a rejection, i had to reject SRM because of lack of hospitality for North Indian people at the reception desk. Admission process for Amity is quite moderate, you have to have 70% aggregate in PCM to apply for BTECH, and the students have to go through an interview round to get an admission letter based o nthe interview...Read More
