College

Although the college has a small campus but the infrastructure is excellent. The college is situated at a very prime location that has every facility available nearby and a metro station located just beside the premises.

The curriculum in our college is the same as followed by IIIT-H, which according to me is quite good here. We have 3 papers that evaluate our performance for each subject, which helps us score marks easily and reduce pressure of marks for the end sem papers.

There are plenty of companies that visit the campus thouroughout the year. The training and placement cell is extremely busy handling the demands of the recruiters thouroughout the year. A variety of companies like Amazon, Adobe, Direct one etc. visit the college and offer great packages. The college does provide us with internships but only a limited number of them.

In odd SEM we have ethnic night, which is self explanatory. We have our annual fest Impressions around the end of feb, in which great bands and singers have performed which is followed by the annual tech fest of the college Cyber Srishti.

I would say that the fee structure is expensive compared to the other government colleges but if we look at it from a private College's perspective, the fee structure should be considered quiet feasible.

Our college does have scholarship that makes the tuition fee free only. It applies to the students who score a CGPA of greater than 7.5 or maybe 7. The annual income pf the family should be below 1-2 lakh or something like that.

There are a lot extracurriculars activities that happen in our college. There are dedicated hubs for each activities like robotics, IEEE, Programming hub, Drama club etc. Sports equipments are not provided by the institute. As the campus is relatively smaller than other Colleges, the college does not have a ground. Though it does have a basketball court, squash courts, pool snooker tt tables, swimming pool. Cricket and football are also played here but on the tennis court.

I'd say that the hostels are superb. The first year students have a seperate building where as the other year students live in a 19 floor building that are sub divided according to the year of the students.

The alumini network of the college is very strong, the seniors here are very helpful and supporting. As there is a good coding culture in the college seniors often help the juniors with showing them various paths on what they can do etc.

You have to fill a form available on the college's website. After which there is a counciling round in which seats are allotted based on the ranks of the respective students and the choices which they have filled.

The faculty here is quiet good and experienced. They help us thouroughout the semester and explain any problem related to the subject or off subject very nicely. They are very friendly and treat you like a friend.
